One of the best tricks to maintain tension in a horror RPG is to _never_ alert the players to a sanctuary. Robert tells the players that if they defeat a creature their 'zone' is now safe. While that may be somewhat logical and obvious to the GM, not knowing where a place to rest is builds tension and fear. Only reveal a sanctuary when they come to it and try it out, and even then don't let on if it is permanently safe. Right up until they are healed, make them worry that resting was a terrible idea even if it was actually their best decision.

It's the same problem with other D&D streamers. If they adopt another ongoing campaign there will be much less time in their schedules for new one-offs like this. I'd like to see more of this as well, but I'd much more like to see other one-off ideas with other settings and genres in the future. And I think it would be more creatively satisfying to them and their writers, as well. If only we had clones! 🤣

Rowan's 'sucking' may get slightly old for me, but I totally agree with him on the crowbar, even if it is a smaller one, they are made rather strong and typically have a very pointy end good for causing deep wounds where a golf club is like a 1-2lb head on the end of a typically VERY easily bent shaft. ;)
