To not only be able to create these worlds from the multiverse he has living in his head, he also has the ability to keep up with the quality and investment energy and fun in every single episode. How naturally they all just slide into the Bored characters. Alan and Rowan bickering, Bens on the fly complaints, Adam doing the thing with his hands. They just don’t leave character. Tells you how much they love the series and the characters within. So lovely to watch. Tron was the original getting sucked into the game film, I hope they feature a lightcycle quest. The recent Jumanji films featured a console rather than trons arcade machine. Then there was an episode of Black Mirror called "USS Callister" that featured getting their minds copied and put into a game (Black Mirror is such a great show, it's on netflix and each episode is a different story about the what if of technology going too far) which also featured the game being a spaceship startrekish game.

I remember it. I never got to play it, but I knew someone who had, and he said it was really good. Just simple rules, and lots of scope for imagination. Tunnels and Trolls, too. So much was about having an imagination, back before video-games came along, and encouraged players to expect finite limits. A TTRPG really HAS no limits.... especially with VLDL on "Bored". 😁
