Due to the limb twist, I might as well try to make the best of it, so I finished it anyway. This design is much smoother compared to a regular selfbow, and my feeling is that it´s faster too. I gave this bow to my step son, who enjoy to shoot it. Thanks for watching!

Dude that thing looks cool and shoots nice. I'd suggest making a high pound bow and just keep working it down testing speed ass you go. I took my 80lb bow shooting 120fps down to 50 lbs to shoot at 155 fps and I reckon I can make it even faster with a little heat treatment and back set limbs

Nice bow, a little light for hunting. The string mis alignment makes it more centre shot. Not a bad thing.Self bow making is great fun isn't it.

If you're not breaking or messing up bows, you're not making bows. So long as you learn from every bow that breaks or ends up twisted or ends up too light a poundage ( poundage goal not met) then it's not really a loss. I have and purposely keep the last 4 broken bows at my feet in visual range of my workbench. Each one has lessons for the next bow.

Very nice bow. All it needs is a nice dark stain and some horn strips on the belly!

You are being too hard on yourself, that's a nice bow, string misalignment on the arrow shelf side is not such a big deal.

Yeah I know. That’s also why I showed it to you anyway.
