You are born to late Peter. Imagine traveling with our Viking ancestors, meeting the Huns and coming up with this concept 🤔 Keep up the good work 👍

Great stuff Peter. I love both types of bow so a hybrid is natural for investigatuon. Maybe one that could be thumb drawn and finger drawn?
@peterjuulsgaard4 жыл бұрын
Hopefully it can be shot any style. Thump style is not my thing, though

Love that design, I really love bows with horn on the siyahs. Thank you Peter, would love to see a chronograph reading of that bow when finished. 😁🏹

Thanks! In order to physics, I dont think we can expect a fast bow with this design. In my book, performance is several things, not speed only.

So nice, your dining table is the second workbench and your wifen sit down on the countertop. My wife would be flipped-out.

Jeg tror ikke man skal forvente en hurtig bue her. De forlængede ender med horn har jo en vægt, som skal flyttes også. Buen er mere for sjov og ment som et experiment. Performance kan måles på flere faktorer i min bog, ikke kun fart.

That's a cool looking hybrid . It should be good for a Roe Deer next season right ? I've neglected making bows this year ,I think you motivated me to get out a piece of wood and some clamps .

Thanks! Good to be able to motivate. And I like to experiment with different types

Very nice Peter, what kind of horn did u use, the holmegaard bow I made I backed with rawhide in 2015 and I still hunting with it ,been a good shot a bunch of hogs with it, nice video nice work thanks, I believe it's going to be a shooter

You need to get your hands on some osage orange wood.

Yeah I would like a stave. But they dont grow here
@christianbowyer78124 жыл бұрын
Hi Peter, the design if that bow is cool. Elm is good stuff, but osage us a class of it’s own. I purchased osage from Hungary. Peter Nemeth sells quality staves for reasonable prices. Nature-longbow.com is his site. Due to the short hybrid design it might take a max. drawlength of only 26“. Maybe with careful tillering a little more. I wish you success and much fun with the bowmaking and hunting of course.

Camo?? The shirt is brown. Thanks for watching
@mikehunicke50614 жыл бұрын
Keep the limbs as wide as you can and bending only enough to achieve a very low brace height when you begin the tillering process. It looks good so far.
