@V1SHAL_v Not exactly. Arjun plays sub-par moves in order to get attacking chances and wild chess which he navigates well usually to victory. But now he is playing in a closed tournament where opponents can defend extremely well and prepare specifically for him. Add to this Arjun's loss of confidence and it has been a recipe for disaster . It is noteworthy to mention that Arjun-Gukesh in classical is 4-0 though it may even out in the future .

The times when leela and stockfish differed are over. It's an human idea, defended with enginge calculation. Maybe you are right, but in my opinion Leela as the second strongest engine wouldn't even suggest this move nowadays but I can be wrong.

He's just bored and exhuasted after his loss against fedo, He went all out every game and didnt want to draw by all means. This kinda stress and anxiety gets to you and the main chess skills like Calculation and intuition or patter recognition become blunt. It happens, Arjun will come back.

Doesn't matter what people speculate about Arjun. He has already proved his class and it's just lack of rest. He should not have played this tournament without proper rest. Also he has lost some motivation as he could not qualify for Candidates. But he will take good rest after this and he will be back!

I think Arjun lost the correct idea when he made those unnecessary moves on the queen side after the pawn sacrifice. If you are going for a king attack, you only make moves that facilitate towards that goal. Here he moved his pawns on the queen side, allowing Max to open up the a file.

Both Firoujza and Erigaisi can call themselves 2800s. They never performed like a 2800. Forget Carlsen, a 2850 Caruana was world-class. Just giving an example.

A 2800 Erigaisi is bloated as F***. Strength wise he is between 2710-2750, imo. He farmed 2600s en-masse to build a very flimsy reputation of being very strong.
