The Iconic Acme Metropolitan Police Whistle (Model 15)

This is probably the most iconic whistle in the entire world. The Acme model 15 Metropolitan Police whistle has been carried by British police forces for over 150 years. It has a very recognizable look and sound.

Fun fact - the same whistle was used by british officers in the trenches of world war 1. Its very cool that the same factory is still making them basically the same way trough the years

Thanks for watching. Ironically, I discovered that fact when researching the whistle. They had an IOW (Infantry Officers Whistle) which was a the model 15 and an AOW (Artillery Officers Whistle) which was a model 58. Pretty cool.
