This is more like a spring roll apart from the barley. Why is it every recipe I find uses chicken indtead of beef.

because its traditionally made with chicken. you can always swap out the chicken for beef. and once you try them you will see that they taste exactly like a chiko roll that is the most important part the taste. have a great night mate and thanks for watching

aparantly in 1951 they were called chicken rolls even thou they didnt have any chicken in them then later on they called them chiko rolls as that is what everyone used to call them. typical Aussies even that long ago we shortened words lol. have a great week William 😊💜🍻
