Twiggy got her style from Edie. Edie’s haircut and famous year was 1965. In 1966 twiggy cut her hair short and wore big earrings like Edie. Mia Farrow in 1968. Edie a trendsetter!

I have always thought Warhol was a sociopath. I am fascinated by Edie Sedgwick and have read all I could find about her. I realize that as a 6ft2 190lb. straight white American guy I am not supposed to be interested in these things, but I am. I think this video really struck a balance between context, personality and the public's reaction or perception to her and that scene. I agree with your analysis of which styles she made known and the duality of her taste. I think you may enjoy "Diana Vreeland The Eye Has To Travel" , she was fashion editor of Harpers Bazaar for many years and had what I think was an highly intriguing personality. Totally love her, the best of all Andy superstars! She captivated all eyes and of course all cameras. As you may know she was very into astrological knowledge of the era and told once that she knew she wasn’t going to be here for a lot of time, but surely she knew she was going to live forever in the lenses of Andy 🤍🤍🤍
