Growing up in the 2000s watching Maya and Hansa on TV was something else. It’s hard to describe that feeling. It was great fun!

The two shows mentioned were 'Sarabhai vs. Sarabhai' and 'Khichdi'. They are both very successful comedies which are loved by everybody. We watch their reruns all the time. Their roles in these two shows have become quite iconic. But I'm not sure if these shows would appeal to y'all.... I guess one has to know the language and certain aspects of the culture and society here to understand the humour in these shows...

LOL the ending convo about blended families through me off. In my head I was thinking I am not from a blended family...and totally spaced out that my brother is really a half brother. I never thought of him any way than my big brother and my Dad and his relationship has always only been that of Son and Dad. I think my Dad adopted him when he was 7. I can't imagine thinking of him as a "half" brother. I also can't imagine how awful it would have been if my Dad had treated him any different than he did.

Do you understand English ? It just means Twinkle Khanna is interviewing Icons. Nowhere has Twinkle said she is one. In fact she acknowledged on a Koffee with Karan show that she was a terrible actress. She even joked that Karan's Kuch Kuch Hota hai was a hit cos Rani played the part of Tina and not she. Karan wanted Twinkle for Rani Mukherjee's role but Twinkle refused.
