Maybe teach muslim sisters the basics of how to cook, clean, raise the next gen and be a dutiful wife before getting married. Too many sisters who are strong, independent and career driven at the expense of their husbands and poor kids.

Marriage is an agreement and before marriage you need to build an expectation of what the marriage life is gonna be like and agree to it, if a woman wants to be career driven, she can, if you don't want a woman who is career driven, don't marry her and find a different woman. Also, just because a woman is career driven doesn't mean she doesn't take care of her family

@@Macky-je2em I highly doubt that a woman can be career driven and raise kids effectively at the same time. It's vital for a child's development for the mother to nurture and guide her children to at least the age of puberty. Too many mothers throwing their kids into childcare while they pursue their selfish interests.

@@AJ-aabbcc you can doubt it but it doesn't change the reality that there's women who would manage their career and family hand in hand "in the muslim society" as many of them understand their obligations. Also, you miss the point that dads need to teach their kids too, who's gonna teach them islam, manners, practical skills? Dads excel at that and women suck at it, studies in the US, literally shown that kids who grew up without their dad were less intellectually capable than the kids who grew up with their dad. similar thing happened to kids who grew without their mom just in other aspects. It honestly depends on the woman's career, and how much it takes of her time, but generally women are waaay better at multi tasking so you can't accuse people especially as a muslim talking about other muslims, you can say that following your career lessens your capability to care for your kids, which is true, but not being able to care and watch for them because of that, that's untrue. Also, if women who are being career driven is an issue for us men, all we have to do is not marry career driven women, not stop them from being career driven, so once they realize it's an A or B equation, they will naturally start to be less career driven women because they'll chose marriage over career, that's why I said before if you don't like them don't marry them.

I haven't forgotten the important role of fathers, however I was addressing Nina who specialises in mentoring women. I haven't said mothers will not be able to care for their kids. In my first sentence I wrote I doubted that women can be career driven and raise kids EFFECTIVELY at the same time. You state women will realise they aren't getting proposals because the are career oriented and will naturally choose marriage over their careers. For many they realise this too late when their biological clock is ticking and men are no longer interested in these older well educated and hard working women in their fields. The key is to educate young women before they reach this stage, and to advise them that starting and maintaining a family comes first.
