Thank you Brother Shadeed for once again having real talk and I’m glad you mentioned about brothers and sisters focusing on just their outer appearance and not their actions and character. Alhumdulilah✊🏽

As Salaamu Alaika Ya Imam. Once again you're on point as I've witnessed in each of the videos I've seen. May Allah keep you on the straight path, living by the knowledge you have been given and humble before Him. Ameen. When it comes to people always putting others in boxes (the "All men are..." and "All women are..." narratives) I feel it's from the tunnel vision cause by our baggage... as we unpack the tunnel opens. It allows us to have a broader perspective... for example if you put someone in a dark room and tell them "The light will come on for 30 seconds, find everything red." Then once you bring them out of the room you ask "Can you list all of the yellow objects you saw?" They will not be able to tell you because they only searched for red. The wall could have been yellow but they didn't see it! Same situation but you say "The light will come on for 30 seconds, remember as much about the room as you can." They will be able to list more than one thing when you ask "Can you list all of the yellow objects you saw?"

Yvonne Simmons don't do that. This is for us to be aware of different circumstances that can take place if we aren't taking proper precautions, not allowing the guardian in our lives to vet the brother. This is just a part of whole spectrum of us not walking around bring naive.

I disagree what you say about students of knowledge having brothers wearing white thawbs and the sisters wearing black. In the city of Philadelphia every community you will find every community with the men wearing white thawbs and the sisters wearing black garments. The sunnah have been in America for a long time MashaAllah especially in Philadelphia

TheCastedone i doubt it, i dont agree with saying students came back making people wear these clothing.I understand the spritual struggles of my people but i dont agree with that point
