This is a much easier review to follow and appreciate, compared to the typical Porsche-philes who list off all these different Porsche models and series that the non- Porsche crowd may not understand. You and I come from similar backgrounds on cars. I can tell even from the video that there’s so much Performance left in this car which cannot be explored on public roads. I suspect I need to drive one to truly appreciate the dynamics and balance. 🍺 🇩🇪

Sitting on a Sunday early morning before I go for a drive in my 2022 718 Cayman GTS 4.0 through the St Cruz mountains and happened on this vid. Our specs are the same, with two differences, mine is FrozenBerry Metallic and I have the 20” Turbo wheels. Great review and drive!

I'm glad I came across this video! I have had a red 1999 Carrera with an Aero Kit for about 11 years and it looks and runs great. But I agree about the numb steering, it doesn't provide enough steering feedback when on the highway and severely lacks low end torque when pulling away from a stop, other cars pull away faster. So this is a Porsche I am seriously considering and I contacted a dealer today. Sounds like I would enjoy this Cayman GTS and I love the fact that it still has analog gauges, always loved the Porsche interiors. I am not interested in the 2020-2022 Carreras.

great video....can you share what over axle pipe you used? I have a 2021 GTS with stock exhaust and while many owners like to replace the full exhaust, I think replacing the OAP's will be enough.....so it was really great to hear yours! Thank you....

What is your interior spec? Looks like the standard interior? I am looking at a GTS 4.0 w/ standard interior but not sure if its worth it to spring for the leather / GTS interior. Would love to hear your experience around any of the options that you purchased and what you wish you had.

The sound with top down, especially with a BMC air filter and OAP would trump the fixed roof Cayman in my experience.

I was wondering the same thing. I would love a breakdown of exactly what mod he did and what it cost. I have a 2023 GTS 4.0 a mere weeks away from delivery and I cannot wait. His car sounds magical. The GTS is an absolute Classic in the making. I’ve never seen so many 911 guys sing another Porsche’ praises as the 718 GTS 4.0

I got 30mpg on normal drive mode cruise control set at 65. But I’ll never do that again the car likes sport+mode at full throttle!
