Icy Blu was 17 when she dropped ... sorry, when her record label manufactured this, and pushed her through the mill. She's now an assistant at a real estate company in Texas. Oh, and she was arrrested 11 times, and served time for drug offences, as well as getting fined for traffic violations, and "failure to maintain financial responsibility".

Like Vanilla Ice, she's from the south too(Austin, Texas). Its crazy because "Push It" came out 4 years ago and what was hot at the time was gangster rap. Imagine if she got influenced by Geto Boys. That'd probably be even more cringe, or shockingly on the verge of Tarrie B cult like status.

When you said Rakim rip off I also thought of King Sun lol. There were soooo many pop rap acts at that time, but I think what helped make the ones like Kwame, Kid-N-Play, Mc Hammer(and to an extent Redhead Kingpin and Tone Loc) stand out from a Icy Blu was their dance moves, charismatic stage presence, and their fashion.

Alot of people on the web have either fan accounts or just use other people names on KZbin as trolls. Also Todd in the Shadows is a pop music version of Rap Critic so alot of the topics in their videos could easily be discussed on each others channel. Plus, Todd gets hundreds of "One Hit Wonderland" requests he hasnt done and the joke is that Todd is being lazy lol.

@@tommystrickland6268 He's making fun of how generic of a name "Todd" is. You could put "Samuel" or ""Ben" in that name and it would sound just a generic. If Todd wasnt known through Channel Awesome, it wouldve made the joke less sarcastic and more like Rap Critic roasting his name.
