DMT experience is observing from a 4 dimensional prospective, it would allow calibration and optimization of the neural interface device. The mind state would allow for more efficient connections to the IO lines of the processor as well as creation of a virtual working space for it. You could probably get administrative access to the network it is connected to and hack into all kinds of things very quickly. Would probably end very badly, though.

My 14 year old daughter who I just moved with me had been indoctrinated into religion. I am the type of parent who lets my kids believe if they like. Just because I chose not to i will not make them do what I do. I always just ask why they believe and pose questions about it to make them think. Anyways during our conversation She started asking questions about what I believe and I tried to explain multiverse theory and the observation of atoms changing. It wasn’t able to explain it too well but I sent her this video it explains it beautifully

We are all actively being indoctrinated to believe things that might or might not be true. Im not religious either but i've seen it with my own eyes and thus think that true christian believers are a force of good in this world and we can never have enough of them.

"multiverse theory" there is not multiverse theory - parts of Inflation theory (the parts that cannot really be proven as of yet or possible ever and those where are more out on a limb) suggest a multiverse - but there is not really a theorem for that. Really, those parts of Guth's work are not even really part of the actual theory.
@trybunt
@trybunt Жыл бұрын
At the end of the day you don't have to pick a physics model that you decide is true. Multiverse and all that? There is complicated evidence that suggests it might be true, but without being able to falsify it, unless we want to take a leap of faith, we have to acknowledge that we don't know if it's true or not. Personally, I think that the best way to look at the world is through a lense of accepted uncertainty. We have degrees of confidence that particular things are true, but we can never be certain, and that's ok. That even goes for that sentence, perhaps one day in the future we will figure out some way of being certain, but right now we have a subjective view of the world, so our beliefs have to acknowledge that subjectivity if we want to be intellectually honest with ourselves. There should always be a desire to know if our beliefs are true. The best way we've found to do this, is to falsify our beliefs, acknowledge we can always be wrong, and accept that what we think we know is generally just the things we haven't been able to prove wring yet.

Thank you for your content. It's wonderful and absolutely brilliant! Thought provoking intelligent content that we may occasionally wonder about or muse over encapsulated into KZbin uploads is just a genius idea. And you have the perfect voice to narrate said topics / information. It sort of reminds me of the times I'd wonder aloud to friends about why our Moon was never given its own original name. Its like naming your child "child" or "offspring". I've never been able to find an answer to this question. I'd love to see this sort of subject addressed by you. Things / objects that we were too lazy to name lol 😅. Once again thank you for everything you do! Fyi - this video has a nunber of breaks where it sounds like its the end of the video but than it suddenly starts up again. I assume its just an editing issue. 🤔

I read a story in a greatest scifi of the year anthology called Bit Rot. Sorry I dont have the details. It was about post humans on an interstellar ship hit by a gamma ray burst jet. It talks a lot about the kinds of upgrades our brains and bodies might have available in the future. Its pretty horrifying what happens but the craziest part is that stock humans wouldnt have even known anything happened. They'd just be cooked. Great story for anyone thinking about this kind of stuff. Neuralink isn't even gen 1.

There is no point in peace if your every thought is monitored. The being human part is making mistakes and learning from them. Some learn that the mistake they have committed is against moral code, some just enjoy the benefits out of it and continue to do so. But thats how humans are.
@allineedis1mike81

Humans suck. If we don't figure out how to tame our animal instincts in the near future none of it will matter anyway. We are rapidly approaching a time where technology will allow individuals to create great harm should they choose to. The kinds of mistakes that nobody gets to learn from because theres no one left to learn. I don't know what the answer is, I'm not cool with giving up privacy and freedom. Also not cool with being eaten by some incels engineered germ or nanotechnology. Tough problem to solve if there even is an answer. Might be why we seem to live in a universe primed for life yet utterly silent. Should be interesting to find out though, I guess there's that😂

@@allineedis1mike81 True! If one decides to go against what is set in place for safeguarding humans, and if he can do so with so much power that we will definitely be having in near future, we will be cluster fcked. But all major wars were because of one individual or individuals ideology. Hitler is an example. But hitler with Nuclear bombs would have been the ending of this earth. Its pretty messy already, with the steps we are taking as a group. I dont know what will hit us first, the asteroids, the robots, the climate change or one fucking nerd with power.

Linear reality does not mean you can't predict the future. If anything, it makes the outcome more predictable. The subconscious already makes logical leaps to predict the future. We call them "gut feelings", assumptions, and intuition. Making more advanced predictions with data we aren't consciously processing is just a show of the power of the human mind.

Or doing odd jobs off and on.not easy to support yourself and others.prices keep raising any old time.if you are unemployed or not...how many hours do you get in a month.do get cut hours.laid off,fired for some reason.life will derail you naturally.some people beg,borrow and steal for their goods.anywhere at anytime.if the answer is NO.these ordinary people will take it in their own hands to support themselves.just to survive financially in this lifetime. I hate to be a kill joy but who is going to guarantee the security of such a device? Who is prepared to take the risk of having his brain hacked into? I know we are already giving up our privacy and prone to being maniputaled by the media and so forth. But I doubt anyone who really understands the dangers of such a device is going to accept it being implanted in his brain. It is fine for a few people to help them with their physical disablity. To narrow the application of it to these people is not going to provide enough incentive for others to invest enough to hack into their brain. But once you have numbers above certain threshold and spread accross population then that investment becomes worthwhile. Just look at the growing banking fraud, number of hacks. So, you might want to think about endangering what is left of the integrety of your thoughts. Being imprisoned in your skull is a definately a curse but a blessing in disguise as well.

I think you answered your question. The only people willing to take risk would be those that are probably disabled, but also living very hard lives and depending of other people. I mean we all depend on other people but we normally do have some agency about our daily life. When one needs help doing the most mundane, yet neceserry tasks, like eating, moving, going to the toilet, then you would need quite an amazing mind to not became hopeless or uninterested in life. Hawking comes to mind.

Also, I find many of Musks ideas kinda, what a naive, not so educated sci fi fan, would imagine a future might contain. Sometimes there is something in them, but often even the starting application, as in here having a very invasive procedure, that might be done, some other way, with it being able to be removed if the client or patient isn't satisfied, which would go a long way towards something that might have wide commercial use. And sometimes his ideas are just without any basis in reality. I personally dislike him the most of using such insane amounts of gouverment capital, with projects that might be aligned with some USA objectives, while at the same time being a proponent of cutting all social spending towards health, welfare, food stamps and the like. He is such a visible ego maniac, that shows just how much is wrong with our global economic system. He is such a hypocrite.

I could build a neural interface device that would do the same thing as neurolink but would be removable and non invasive. It would use extremely tiny but extremely powerful electromagnetic transducers to create currents or read out electrical signals. Combine with AI to learn how to use it. Also would have a much bigger battery so longer use time.

Sorry I have ghost in the shell as a favorite. Hooking up to your phone or computer which both can be hacked, not to mention is there any kind of pre order in the chip you don't even know about. Before someone says that won't happen or couldn't happen that's what they said about computers in the start as well. I will keep my slow brain and my own soul thanks.

regarding precognitive dreams, I don't think they're coincidental or good guesses at all. I very vividly remember a dream that i had about a year before i went to boot camp. before i even knew i was going to join the military. The dream consisted of me sitting in a chair somewhere. And noticing two men walking buy in military camouflage. 2 years later. I was in that exact spot in the exact building. And what was I doing? I was on suicide watch making sure someone didn't unalive themselves. How does one just have a dream depicting them being somewhere for a specific reason when they haven't even considered that alternative? or depict a location where you haven't even been with accuracy?

The mind is a N dimensional working space, as a result time is not linear it can form time like curves that can have a resonance at points in the future or past. You stumbled on one of those points. Anyway I am glad you did not unalive yourself. The future is gonna get very wild 😜 strap in and enjoy the show.
