hin lim trick : One card with two face (4 of spades & 8 diamonds). When he turned the card there was extra card above. Look closely when he took the card from girl hand should be at above and the below was came from his hand. Check mate!

Play it at 0.25X you'll notice the 5 of heart is hidden under the other card (by using magnet) 1:14. look at the edges of the card. The bottle that he place into the box, will be hidden and will be replaced by a another bottle with the forced card. It's a special box

Shin Lim just forced the four of spades in her with that fancy move with the deck. I'm only average when it comes to manipulating cards, nowhere the skill level of Shin Lim (not even in the same universe LOL), but even I could have easily forced that card. The only way to guarantee a free selection of a card is for the spectator to remove the card from the deck. By the way, if you return a card to the deck while the Magician is holding the deck, he will know exactly where it is and can control it to any spot in the deck he wants.
