@john69294 But why are you using the word "miraculous", I check up on this and this has NOT been approved by the Church. The Roman Catholic Church ahs very rarely approved any images, apparitions or appearances of Mary. There is always a "warning" with the apparition, usually a grave one, like the end of everything. I lived near Bayside, NY in the 1970s where the claims were made that she appeared with a "warning" about 1997. Nothing happened in 1997. Question: Some people in my parish follow the Bayside apparitions and are encouraging me to do the same. What does the Church say about this group? Answer: The Bayside apparition (“Our Lady of the Roses”) is totally and completely false. A Catholic should ignore it and have nothing to do with it or its literature. The supposed seer, the late Veronica Leuken, issued bizarre revelations and false prophesies that have not come to pass, such as the claim that “the Warning spoken of through the ages will occur in the year 1997.” This Warning-not to be confused with the Three Days of Darkness or the Chastisement that some speak of-”is the worldwide cataclysm predicted by little Jacinta Marto, the youngest of the three child-seers at Fatima.”

I have been to the shrine of our lady of Guadalupe absolutely wonderful ,my husband made a promise when my daughter was very sick to take her there if she would help to heal her we took Roseann to the shrine when she was five years old and healed by her loving son Jesus. Very interesting Father. I am from Perú, we have similar problems as Mexico, very poor though beautiful treasures. Although we have our mothers' protection... "Que, no estoy aquí que soy tu madre?!" We need your assurance!!! You are with us Blessed Virgin all the time through your great mercy. I would like to add in this little space that I find a divine beautiful parallel between the Lady of Guadalupes' image, and Jesus Christ's image of the Shroud of Turin!!! Both were impregnated by heaven in an instant! Both make so much sense in the 20 and 21th century because of our present technology allows us to uncover the richness of the image and its many levels of truth and beauty .There is much more to say in this matter but this is not the format to do so. Sorry...In a few words, I would like to say, it makes us wonder the magnanimous power of Gods light and eternal life..." I am the truth, the life and the way..."no one comes to the father except through me", that pure blessed miraculous divine light, was in both cases, in an instant of heavenly capture as if in a photographic "picture" or photo of Jesus's our Lords instant of resurrection, and in the other case of Our Ladys heavenly presence in Juan Diegos eyes of faith reflected in his poncho.!!! Both have to do with Birth and rebirth! Beautiful light, Thank you God for showing us a taste of heaven in your most humble servants and family!! Yes, Mexico is under the special protection of our Lady. Because, I believe, they are a kind and generous and good people. truly, with a great gift of humor. About 20 years ago. a Mexican lady discovered an image of Guadalupe in an oak tree in Pinto Park in Watsonville, California. As soon as I saw the photo of the tree, I felt it was real. To me that said Our Lady was still watching over all of her people, even those who had to leave their homeland for economic reasons, giving them hope and encouragement.

Our Lady is nothing but comfort when faced with turmoil. Comfort, unsurpassed. There are none that can withstand Her power. Two images remain in my memory of our visit to Tepeyac. The incredible beauty of the image imposed on the rough fabric of the Tilda; and the line of pilgrims crawling on their knees along the approaches to the site. Are you familiar with our lady of Las Lajas in Columbia, Fr. Thady? The image she left behind was in semi precious stone on a cave wall, several feet thick! I had not heard of this until ~10+ years ago and there is a beautiful minor basilica was built there ~150 years ago, right on the spot where she appeared and the stone image (Our Lady of the Rosary, I read but if I recall correctly, she was wearing traditional clothing from that region). But I have two images in my head for reasons I can’t explain - both Our Lady of LAs Lajas and Our Lady of the Rosary. A young woman had a deaf and dumb daughter ~4-5 years old. They went into a cave to wait out a storm. The child told her mother a few times that The Madonna or Our Lady was calling her to come over to her. The mother was frightened about the cave and would not let the child leave her side. Note that the child was both deaf (unable to hear) and dumb (unable to speak) but she heard Our Lady and she spoke to her Mother! The Mother decided to keep this to herself as the village did not seem to think highly of the mother - the child was very frail, was deaf and dumb and there was no mention of a father - though the father might have been away working. I don’t know and that is conjecture on my part. Several days later, the child died and the mother ran out of the home with the child and ran back to the cave and yelled at the Madonna for allowing the child to die. The child was revived which forced the mother to explain about Our Lady and show them the cave. I am not sure who first spotted the image which was left behind. After this occurred, a geologist was given permission to examine and test the image. He drilled several feet deep and different parts of the image and discovered no end to the various colored stones. She did not simply leave an image as the image transformed the cave wall to several feet of stone. One presumes, though it was never tested, that one could cut a slice of the cave wall and have the image in their hands while the image remained on the cave wall. I had never heard about this before I stumbled over the story over a decade ago. I looked it up after I finished watching your video - that’s not true as I paused your video to look it up and then came back to finish the video. I don’t know if the child was cured, though I would suspect she experienced a cure of some sort the first day she saw Our Lady. I did not have any details about the child after she was revived, nor how long she lived and what became of both Mother and Child. It has been a dream of mine that I visit Mexico City to se the Tilma and pray at Our Lady of Guadalupe Chapel/Church and then travel to Columbia to see the Basilica of Our Lady of Los Lajas. The Basilica is on very firm ground though they had to built a high bridge to give tourists access and it LOOKS precarious. Did not mean to shift the focus. There have been a handful of Marian Apparitions and Miracles in the Americas but they have not gotten the attention of the apparitions in France and Portugal. But I don’t know that any of the were recurring events worthy of the world’s attention. Great video! My Grandmother had great veneration to Our Lady of Guadalupe and was also devoted to the Sacred Heart of Jesus as well as the Immaculate Heart of Mary. A small piece of trivia not relevant to your video or the cave. I don’t believe she was aware of Our Lady of Los Lajas.

A few details of Our Lady of Las Lajas. Her feast Day is September 16. Lajas means slab of rock. Her image is of Our Lady holding the Rosary in one hand and the Child Jesus in the other. St Francis and St Dominic are at Her feet. The Apparitions happened in 1754. It’s a fascinating story. 🙏🏻

These population figures include a lot of guesswork. I found a site that said; "In the meantime, it is clear that before the Spanish conquest the population of the Mexican subcontinent was large-certainly five million, probably ten, and perhaps fifteen, if not twenty or twenty-five million. There's a site that lists populations in 1500, England and its possessions is listed as 2.75 million people, France plus possessions at 16 million people, the Ottoman Empire (at the time a superpower) at 12.6 million people. The Aztec Empire is listed there as 6 million. These figures are wildly divergent - when you don't know if you started with 5 million or 25 million, you also can't know if a plague killed one third or one half or one tenth - just that there was a plague.

And also the child Jesus and a male saint in all their glory, brighter than the sun. Therefore I have my very own private revelation to turn to and have no need of others. In any case the B.V.M is always the same person regardless in what form she may appear. Unfortunately my parents hadn't a clue how to guide their children but fortunately God provided with a very Catholic neighbor who came to live nearby and provided some guidance about the many things and for which I am grateful bc in the midst of all the difficulties and hardship God is understanding, good & merciful, for which may I be eternally grateful

The Roman Catholic Church as very rarely approved any images, apparitions or appearances of Mary. There is always a "warning" with the apparition, usually a grave one, like the end of everything.
