The IMO, Sulfur and Binder Quality With Dr. Geoffrey Rowe, P.E.

This webinar presents some discussion of changes ongoing in the industry with refiners preparing for International Maritime Organization (IMO) changes. The effects of sulfur on traditional and Superpave properties, and the possible implications for the asphalt industry, are discussed.
Dr. Geoffrey Rowe has been working with asphalt materials for 43 years and is currently the president of Abatech, providing consultancy services on projects around the world. He has implemented significant technology for pavements, including pavement structural design, analysis of FWD data, materials property analysis and rheology. He is a past president of the Association of Asphalt Paving Technologists. He sits on many other groups advising research that impact of specifications in North America, Europe, Asia and Africa. He is a licensed Professional Engineer in the U.S. and a Chartered Engineer in the U.K.
