Thanks for coming back, Jim. I miss these lessons from you.

Grizzly has the sweetest little release I've ever seen. So smooth. I've spent too much pointless time trying to replicate it.

More great content from Merlin!!! And, the best company to deal with when buying archery equipment online. Can't wait for more video uploads. 😊

My favorite way to practice a clean release is to shoot 400 grain arrows off of a 25 lb bow. It magnifies the effects of any errors in the release, and makes is it easy to feel how the string is interacting with the fingers.

It comes across as a reading from the archery bible 🤣 I'm definitely here for that!

Wait, I’m confused. An obscure passage from a 54 year old book about misadventures in the American South and a clip of some random dude on a basketball court. I get that James Dickey was a very good archer and some of his passages are inspirational - but this is supposed to be about the importance of a good release. I kept waiting for the demonstration.

Think you may have a problem with your audio bud. Turn it up as he does explain it 🤟

@@jamesturner6678 I was hoping for an actual demonstration instead of just an explanation. Grizzly Jim’s demonstrations are excellent! If I want Story hour, I can go to my local library and sit with the preschoolers.
