In complicated times all relationships are tested but needy or not, the bond that unites us to a true friend is as powerful as it is difficult to explain. It goes far beyond trust or intimacy. And we can hear from him or her both praise and criticism, which we accept and reflect on, knowing that we all are, in one way or another, imperfect. Seb I have no doubt that you must be the type of friend to treasure on the left side of the chest. Peace.

Nice video! I’ve had MS for 21 years now..I just turned 34 a couple of months ago…pediatrics definitely has it’s very unique challenges with acquaintances, friends, etc. I didn’t tell any of my closest friends till 8 years ago, even my best friend for over 20 years. They were very surprised to say the least but of course very supportive! (Diagnosed fall 2002, I had just turned 13 I had optic neuritis, blind in right eye, I’ve also had some other awful relapses before being benign basically last ten years, numb head to toe, and a stroke like relapse, etc etc.). Kept fighting and graduated law school 5 years ago :). 💪 💪

I think neurological issues are the worst thing to go through 😢 thanks for sharing there is hope for people. At this moment I'm under Ataxia, FND clinical findings and need more testing to rule out other nasties. 😢

If Im honest, I'm sad that some "friends" are no longer with me. But it became more complicated for them to think about what needs to work for me, based on my disability. Not being invited to as many dinners anymore. Sad because I was usually the fixer before. But. A big but. I have few very dear friends. It is good. They see the whole of me for who I am, and I see them. Have found new social places. Therefore, today I can say that I am fine, and instead it is a pity about the old friends who are now missing me. :)

Their loss… and I’m sure they feel sad about it too, but for some people it’s too much to feel like they have to empathise all the time, which I understand and accept and forgive. But lucky the ones who stuck around 🥰🧡
