Kay this was a great video. That was literally me growing up, hating the cane and not wanted to use it. Around the time I became a teenager though I eventually got to the point where I realized it was more embarrassing and socially awkward to need to be guided by my parents or hold onto a Friends arm then to use the cane. I also really like what you said about mental health and socially. I really knew became full-time in high school because I had an assistant with me there I know the building really well. When I got to college though I knew I needed something to make me more independent since I’d be on my own a lot more and so I began using it full-time. It was definitely a confidence builder and made things easier going with friends then it would’ve been.
