The gospel, or the "good news" of our salvation, fundamentally centers on the life, death, resurrection, and ascension of Jesus Christ. It is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes (Romans 1:16). This power isn't just an abstract concept; it's the active means through which God transforms us from the kingdom of darkness into the kingdom of His beloved Son (Colossians 1:13). At its core, the gospel reveals that our salvation is secured not by our works but by grace through faith in Jesus Christ (Ephesians 2:8-9). This grace not only saves us but also teaches and transforms us. As Titus 2:11-12 explains, the grace of God has appeared, bringing salvation for all people, instructing us to renounce ungodliness and worldly passions, and to live self-controlled, upright, and godly lives in this present age. The conviction of being a sinner, is part of the Holy Spirit’s work in our conversion. It softens our hearts and makes us receptive to this grace (John 16:8), leading us to repentance and a heartfelt acknowledgment of our need for a Savior. This transformation is profound. In Christ, we are new creations; the old has passed away, and the new has come (2 Corinthians 5:17). This identity is not rooted in our own righteousness but in Christ's. We are justified freely by His grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus (Romans 3:24). In Him, we are righteous, holy, and beloved. Moreover, our identity in Christ means we are heirs of God and co-heirs with Christ (Romans 8:17). This inheritance is not earned but given, and it assures us of a future hope and a present purpose. In Christ, we are also seated in heavenly places (Ephesians 2:6), indicating the spiritual authority and victory we have in Him over sin and death. But the transformative power of the Gospel does not end with personal salvation. God’s love, which is the essence of His being (1 John 4:8), compels us to love others. This love is not passive; it actively seeks the good of others and is the hallmark of our new life in Christ. As we are transformed by God's love, we are called to be His light in the world, shining forth His love and grace in our actions and interactions. True faith is expressed through love (Galatians 5:6), and it is through love that our faith and hope find their deepest and most profound expression. Eternal life, as defined in John 17:3, means knowing God and Jesus Christ whom He has sent. This knowing goes beyond intellectual understanding-it is a deep, relational knowledge that grows through prayer, engaging with Scripture, and living out the truths of the Bible in daily life. Eternal life starts now, with a relationship with God through Jesus, and it manifests in how we show Him to others and reflect His character in our actions. The gospel, then, is not just good news; it's the best news ever, and it's for everyone. Every element-from realizing our sinfulness and receiving God's grace, to understanding our new identity and walking in it, to entering into a dynamic relationship with God-is part of this glorious truth. The power of salvation changes not only our eternal destiny but our everyday reality, enabling us to live out our true identity in Christ and to reflect His love to everyone around us. This is the crux of what it means to be a Christian: it is not just about being saved from something but being saved for something-good works which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them (Ephesians 2:10), motivated by love and aimed at glorifying God, and perpetually deepening our relationship with Him through Christ.

Became born again in 1995 ( Glory to God) only recently believed in Jesus Christ alone for salvation, still struggling sin, im a carer for my 84 year old mother who is unsaved as she is a Roman catholic, trying to quit smoking cigarettes for a long time now, anyway my belief is now in Jesus Christ alone, self performance has nothing to do with salvation.

Exactly correct Brother… Believe and repent is rubbish. Without Repentance you can’t believe in the first place. Repent, turn from your way to THE Way, which is Christ Jesus and him crucified for our sins, buried and rose again the third day for our justification. You turn from whatever you believed before to the one true Gospel. That is Repentance. You turn from your own wicked way of self justification to God and his way of Salvation. PS: You said something very important around the 9:30 mark, which is that they place something on top of Jesus Christ. That wording you used there is a perfect illustration of how wicked they are. We know that Jesus Christ is God, manifest in the flesh. The sheer idea to place something on top or even alongside God is pathetic. He is the King of Glory, the Creator, God almighty… There is none beside him. There is certainly nothing on top of him. He is fully sufficient to save to the uttermost. The more I meditate on that thought, the more wicked their behavior becomes in my sight

Numbers 23:19 "God is not a man, that He should lie; neither the son of man, that He should repent: hath He said, and shall He not do it? or hath He spoken, and shall He not make it good?" No theologian here, but given that the Lord God cannot lie, that should be enough to acknowledge the simple yet vital truth of the gospel of Christ. Period. When Jesus Himself says "I am the way, the truth and the life....", He means "I am the way, the truth and the life....". In Mark 1:15, I see it now, it says repent and believe. They're part of the same instance, essentially believing the gospel. If it just said repent no one would know what to change their minds to. These are the most dangerous people on the earth my brother. Can’t forget this is a spiritual battle my brother. Most (not all) street preachers have received a strong antichrist spirit and they’ll cling to repentance of sins and there’s pretty much no changing their mind even no matter how much of the correctly divided King James Bible is presented to them. The New Testament was written in Greek. The word "repent" in Greek is metanoia, "change of mind." The disciples were preaching to a Jewish audience and exhorting them to change their mind from unbelief to belief. They had crucified the prophesied Messiah. Paul tells us that he was saved by the Gospel: Moreover, brethren, I declare to you the gospel which I preached to you, which also you received and in which you stand, by which also you are saved, if you hold fast that word which I preached to you-unless you believed in vain. For I delivered to you first of all that which I also received: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, and that He was buried, and that He rose again the third day according to the Scriptures, 1Cor 15:1-4 Why did Jesus die? He took our penalty for sin. God demands righteousness to enter into the kingdom of heaven. We all deserve hell. There is nothing we can do to earn salvation or pay our debt on our own. Our righteousness will never meet the demands of God's righteousness. Jesus took your penalty for sin and paid our debt with His righteousness blood. When you place your faith in His finished work on the cross, and believe in His death, burial, and resurrection, God justifies the believer (God legally declares you righteous, Rom 4:2-8), you will be saved. This is how we are reconciled to a holy God. In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise, Which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of his glory. Eph 1:13-14 Believe in the Gospel to be saved. When you repent, you changed your mind from something that you believed saved you to placing your faith in Christ's finished work to pay your penalty for sin. God's word says there is only one Gospel that saves. The message you're sharing is another Gospel, which is not the Gospel.

There is only one Gospel that saves and it's through Jesus’s blood, His finished work on the cross that paid 100% of our penalty for sin. The mystery of Babylon has nothing to do with a believer's salvation. Belief of some mystery of Babylon is adding to the Gospel. There is only one Gospel and it does not include any mysteries.

If you believe a child of God is once save always saved, then you should understand that even children of God may have entered salvation by trusting in the finished work of Christ on the cross, His death, burial, and resurrection but ended up erring in doctrinal beliefs like J Mac; he did not start out Calvinist. That's why we, as believers, need to continue to help correct and reprove others who adhere to false doctrine. If you believe in OSAS, as I also do, believers can stray in faith and doctrine but still be saved. Once a child of God, always a child of God. No one knows if J Mac is not saved, nor do we know if God is chastising Him. What we do know is he preaches a false gospel. Sadly, if he is saved, he will suffer great loss of rewards in heaven.

Religions have corrupted a simple message of the Gospel. Here is how Paul presented the Gospel: Moreover, brethren, I declare to you the gospel which I preached to you, which also you received and in which you stand, by which also you are saved, if you hold fast that word which I preached to you-unless you believed in vain. For I delivered to you first of all that which I also received: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, and that He was buried, and that He rose again the third day according to the Scriptures, 1Cor 15:1-4 People want to add conditions to believing in the Gospel. Churches don't want to believe salvation is a free gift so they add repentance (with a modern English definition of the word "repent") as well as many other false Gospel clichés. Churches have twisted scripture so much, people have no clue on what the Gospel really is. Many want to focus on their good works to go to heaven instead of placing their faith in Christ's finished work on the cross to pay our penalty for sin with His precious blood. Rarely will you hear churches preach a simple Gospel. The blood of Jesus gets bypassed or ignored and you will hear a lot of "I" statements: I repented. I confessed. I surrendered my life. I was sorrowful and truly meant it. I invited Christ into my heart. You get my point. It's sad that so few churches defend and preach Christ's finished, redemptive work to pay a sinner's debt, or His death, burial, and resurrection. He paid it all and yet so many want to add their filthy works to Jesus’s finished work.
