Thanks for this update. I'm someone who got Dynasty as 1 case and 4 loose boxes. Okay I guess something went wrong with the counting. Then Dynasty came as 8 loose boxes so I contacted your support about it. You guys have a great reputation in the community and I do trust you. It just makes zero sense logistically to ever have 8 loose boxes on hand at any given time unless something was going wrong.

Getting the final one or two cards to complete a series is a pretty great feeling. Likewise adding a new subset to a collection is also very fun. "Every MtG Card Ever" would not be fun to me, but a very focused collection means that you get the best of both worlds when your hobby is both active play and sensible curation.

I am also super happy to hear this. I have been a subscriber since the very start. I purposely buy 8 boxes, hoping that more times than not I will recieve 2 sealed cases, and to be fair to TC, I have gotten 2 sealed cases or at least 1 sealed case every single release until Outsiders. Unfortunately, for this release, I recieved 8 seperate boxes and was pretty disappointed, especially after hearing about all the issues with this set.

I have a subscription for 6 boxes. So I figured 1 case and 2 loose boxes. This is how I’ve received my subscriptions since I started with TOA. This time, however, I actually received 6 loose booster boxes. I don’t think was done due to some shady reasons or anything, just thought it was interesting.

Glad to hear you guys are going to try to ship sealed cases. You used to be able to weigh pokémon packs to find the rare cards. People would go to big box stores, weigh the packs, take all the heavy ones (meaning rare cards), and put the rest of the packs back. This meant that any kid picking up a few packs just for fun would never get rare cards. I also used to see "simulated" booster boxes of 36 packs all from the same set on eBay all the time. At first I wondered why they wouldn't just give you a sealed box. Now I realize they probably open sealed boxes, weigh the packs, take the heavy ones, and resell all the bad packs. Pretty shady. I think with flesh and blood, the thinking is that each booster box is 24 consecutive packs, and each booster case is four consecutive booster boxes. While you're not guaranteed to get a legendary, the thought is that it's more consistent in a case because the packs are consecutive. If you could track consecutive cases, then a case with no legendaries should be followed by a case with two legendaries. I don't know if that is actually true, but I believe that is the expectation of the community.

Wait, War of the Ring the Card Game has been released for almost a year now and you still haven't even showcased it on your channel. War of the Ring the Card Game is the first competitive card game I have seen in this style that is self-contained, one box, no expansions needed. Do you choose to not cover it because it doesn't share the same market value as a trading or living card game?

They've played netrunner a few times and that's free to play. But yeah, I guess it makes sense that they're concentrating on the collectables.

Hey Strix, we've been keeping an eye on it from afar. Honestly, with the new once-a-week streaming schedule we stay busy with the games we have. But, if Ares Games were to reach out we could probably find a spot to play it.
