Been a subscriber for months now...THIS is the video that has made the proper swing movement/feel 'click' in my mind! I feel that this drill is PERFECT to train the "in to in" fwd shaft lean, swing pattern that is mandatory for consistency! The only way this drill doesnt provide the necessary results is if you have a poor set up/grip!!! Ill be doing 100s of these reps per week all off season! Ill come back and comment once I break 80 next spring!!! This is the mother of all swing drills...I can just feel it! To the absolute best golf coach on KZbin...I salute you, Stu!!!

Stu, this video and some of the other recent videos have really been helpful to me in understanding how the hands go out, down and in on the downswing with a cupping of the right wrist. It has taken me months to adopt this method, and I am getting more consistent results with the ball going straight or drawing. Most importantly I feel confident to try for more distance with every club. Also, your method is easier on the wrists because they tend to swing in a natural way. I never thought the bowing of the left wrist was the way to go. Thank you for being so persistent with us on the pressing down with the left hand. Your video on the difference between irons and driver swing has helped also. I start to release much earlier with the fairway woods and Driver resulting in good contact and straight shots. Best regards. Richard

This video is so so important.most of us focus too much on backswing n doesnt understand the downswing to finish correctly.we tend to lift club up too early trying to lift the ball through impact.u have now helped me to understand this move by maintaining the preassure down on the left pad till it moved inwards together w shoulder while left leg leverage back to its heel lifting the left side😳

Great video Stuart. Thanks for my lesson last week. I had my best session at the range today, and my therabands should be arriving tomorrow. I feel this video will be a great help to me. Will be coming back for my next lesson soon. Kind regards Tim

You might have the most well rounded swing…meaning, your swing seems so well proportioned between your center line and back swing and through swing that it’s tough to argue with the results and consistency, and numbers you put up on your launch monitor. I still struggle a bit with consistency but I think I have some old habits peeking in. Great stuff bro Stu!

I always felt like my ball striking is at its best when the hand path radius stayed rhe same and hands didnt get further away from my body. The visual i tried to imagine was Tyrell Hatton - always thought he looks so narrow in follow through like shoidker stay in their sockets! That drill looks to articulate the feel I had but could never rehearse! Brilliant stuff!! Im down at PG on thursday for a lesson with Lewis will have a go with THE theraband 😂

Thanks for sharing your thoughts, give it a go and let me know. Enjoy your time at PG :)

Great video stuart.i had been using the elastic band but didnt realise the grip stayed down all the way to the left until momentum pulls up both arms n club to the finish position. End of grip facing belt buckle most the time ?

Watch the video, this is much easier to grasp where the handle should be Yeo.
