No one but no one will ever come close to Johnny Carson , today’s shows are an absolute waste of my time. And as for the Smothers Brothers, they were put their work on the line fighting for civil rights and against Vietnam. RIP Tommy, you’ve earned your wings for sure.

As I recall the Smothers Brothers were fired by CBS for being too controversial. Ridiculous when you compare them to today’s television. They were out there before SNL.

I never missed one show of theirs. To me they were the best. The faces that Tommy would make would just cracked me up. He didn’t have to say a word. I never got tired of watching them. So sorry to hear about Tom his oldest son Tom and I found where their sister all die in 2023. So many deaths in one year for a family. Very big loses. May God bless the rest of the family and help them to deal with their loses . Rest In Peace Tommy. You’re one of Gods angels now.

They'll go on FOREVER!!! 😍🥰🤩

at the 8:14 time on this video, when 12:00:03 is shown on the 1988 New Years Eve countdown clock, *TIVO* was invented! BUT if not, someone out there had the brainstorm idea for it at that moment! What's the odds the balloon when dropped actually hit Johnny Carson's hand! Maybe that was the1st laser-guided Balloon in history! Congratulations to Klarinette for noticing.

The thing is, Tom was playing the idiot, while also playing great folk guitar. Make no mistake - he was the more radical of the two, and his ridiculous role playing was what gave us the belly laughs. Two very serious musicians, impeccable comedic timing, and protesters against the political mindlessness of the 60s and beyond

Hi! This is Professor Yo-Yo's daughter - Jodi. (Did you hear that Al Rich's daughter married my brother? Pretty cool!) ...... I love your show. I am so glad my dad saw "The Yo-Yo Man" in Las Vegas all those years ago. I really want to show that video of Tommy sitting next to Johnny Carson on the Tonight Show with Johnny Carson - I remember Tommy tapping a pencil. I think I remember Johnny saying that Tommy was more like Johnny than Johnny was! How - the impersonator can condense iconic things in to a short time & be more like the person than the person is. I can't find that video ....

It is terrible that one side is right and those in the other side are either forced or compelled to fight. It would be worse if they were fooled by propaganda to believe that they were fighting for good. If you are on the right side then you will fight stronger. If you are on the wrong side then you will more easily cease risking your life. Which side are you on? The leader who disallows this question doesn't trust the propaganda department and shows to those that follow that they are on the wrong side.
