They had a routine they knew one could or would even try to attempt to do. They had a love for each other that was stronger than any Shakespearen words could ever define. They were honest with each other and played to each in that honesty. The made us laugh and they made us cry, but they always left us with an emotion. Ones gone and the other picks up his bass cello and plays on and on in honor of moms favorite son 😢.

It takes a brain like Tommy’s to think up some wild stuff he himself thinks would work as funny performed after practice and Probably trying the routines put near their homes in California. Dick was an excellent straight man. What a great life to spend it with your sibling working together to bring happiness to others while having a blast and making great money. They also had a popular winery. Much respect to Tom and Dick and their fans!

Growing up listening to The Smothers Brothers (I still have their first LP), I introduced my younger wife to their humor. She was "aware" of their existence but had not invested the time to seriously get into them. She really enjoyed what I selected for her. So much so, that I received two tickets to see them in Niagara Falls in '08, for my birthday (yes, she was a great wife, sadly now deceased). We both were in tears and had sore bellies after their performance. Hilarious. Greatness.

Tommy and Dickie were extremely hilarious....but man could they seriously sing! Beautiful harmony. I've been listening to them since 1960. Love them. Comedians today have to be foul mouth and vulgar. Red Skelton, Bob Hope , Jack Benny and Smothers Brothers among the funniest and still clean comedians. 🤣

I love those guys! Hysterical! How did Dick stand there with a straight face through all of that? And Tommy's monologue in that part was brilliant. He spoke just enough Spanish for the general audience to understand what he was saying. And being in Salt Lake, the reference to "I had the vision once" was priceless!

Great concert dudes... i told that man to keep his hands off my knee. Other people were tapping their toes.... he objected to my tapping and laughing before every punch line. Reheated jokes 🤣 I laughed at with my mother and sisters. I didnt move in to their old apartments in Fort Worth over by the mall either. A friend did. She fell after triping on the edge of a concrete walk way. I could see the vision, but it was getting old and poorly maintained. Life works out. You didn't have to baby sit it forever.

Where was I? Balcony on the right. The man in front row touched my knee every time I tapped my feet, no harder than any else in the crowd. He stopped after I offered to let him explore the contents of my purse, head on. Teach knee touchers. He had a wife with him. He could touch her knees. They had a license to fight and argue with each other. Oh ✋ wait. I had been waiting since I was age 6, to see you 2 in person no where near an onion.
