One night in Kharazan was such a wacky adventure. Loved every bit of it. Especially the "chess" match

The entire adventure was based on the raid Karazhan from WoW. There was also a chess event, which is probably one of the wackiest "bosses" they have ever made. Instead of a boss fight it felt like a Mario Party minigame, but alas. And hey, it still dropped boss level loot!

Yo it's so cool, clearly an unintended bug but at 29:39 the location is cutting the windfury beam. I think the game is jsut registering it as 'something on the board' even though it should only be minions blocking the beam

God the heroic version of the chess match. An absolutely brutal fight. Iirc, it’s practically RNG if you can beat it, I think if the Black King plays a certain piece on a certain turn you just can’t win.

I saw Rarran at Blizzcon in Anaheim yesterday. I told him how cool it was to meet him in person, but I didn’t want to be a douche and bother him and ask him for photos or anything. He said, “Oh, like you’re doing now?” I was taken aback, and all I could say was “Huh?” but he kept cutting me off and going “huh? huh? huh?” and closing his hand shut in front of my face. I walked away and continued with my shopping, and I heard him chuckle as I walked off. When I came to pay for my stuff up front I saw him trying to walk out the doors with like fifteen Milky Ways in his hands without paying. The girl at the counter was very nice about it and professional, and was like “Sir, you need to pay for those first.” At first he kept pretending to be tired and not hear her, but eventually turned back around and brought them to the counter. When she took one of the bars and started scanning it multiple times, he stopped her and told her to scan them each individually “to prevent any electrical infetterence,” and then turned around and winked at me. I don’t even think that’s a word. After she scanned each bar and put them in a bag and started to say the price, he kept interrupting her by yawning really loudly.

I havent played Hearthstone since the release of Naxxramas because it costs so much money to actually play, but watching your content is very enjoyable and seeing some of the golden oldies (reynad) here is amazing. Would love to see more challenges into these heroic adventures.

Jezus christ, he got the last boss on his third try or whatever? That, actually makes me really mad thinking about how disgustingly good dk's board clear combined with board presence is. (Other classes have gotten power crept too, but still). I have never won that fight, and i spent literal weeks trying to beat it back in the day, making different decks, trying new strategies, using every hero in an attempt to crack the code. And here he goes, using a meta deck and winning.

Board control isn’t why “Control” decks are called that. They focus on outlasting the target as they line up their win condition which Blood does well. Traditionally aggressive decks have board control until the mass removals start hitting. The problem is adventure bosses cannot be outlasted on heroic when they’re crazy hyper-aggro reliably killing before turn 5.
