Here's some tips: slow and steady wins the race on steep inclines, and you really should back up to gain more speed on those difficult obstacles.

Loved that disclaimer, lol, and of course, for once I noticed the issue during the map, even with a bit of the red green colorblindness. It makes things just a touch less obvious. But, actually playing and competing, it's understandable why. I love the rollercoasters, but I really like feeling very secure in my seat. Sitting in one of those ski lift or sky ride things, I don't like them. It's way too loose, even if it isn't very high, usually. As for Knott's, I'm sure someone has said it by now, but, it was Ghostrider. Much improved after a rehab, and re tracking. Coincidentally, they will be announcing something new in a couple of weeks. It will be a new major coaster, possibly a Gerstlauer Infinity. Those have vertical lifts, and are very twisty, turn-y, upside down-y with hangtime. They usually only have lapbars, so, hopefully, Jordan never has that kind of experience on that coaster, if it turns out to be that design.

The roller coaster you are talking about is ghostrider. Its one of knots most famous rides. When I was really little I hated it because I sat with my mom and almost fell out as well. I was also very terrified.

On the thing Jordan got stuck at around 7:00, he needs to learn not to full throttle it the moment you spawn from death. By doing more lean-bouncing than petal to the metal, he can leap higher onto obstacles.

there's a log ride (water ride) at a water park near me, and you sit low enough in the log that you don't need much holding you in, only a metal bar over your legs at chest level in front of you. I get motion sickness, have never been on a roller coaster so not at all used to big drops, and so it starts dropping and I *pass out*. I end up waking up seconds later and I was half out of the log holding on for dear life.

You most likely we're not in an actual danger in the coaster. What you're describing is actually common for older wooden coasters. As you go down the hill, the car is going faster than you are falling because it can change it's inertia faster which gives you lift. As a 12 year you're smaller so you can lift higher before hitting the lap bar which makes you think you are going to fall out. You were never in any actual danger though other wise the ride would have been shut down or just not passed inspection, you just got a little lift 😃

About the roller coaster at Knott's same thing almost happened to me but on the Indiana Jones ride at Disneyland. I think it also has the lap belt, so I held onto the seat on the people in front of us because I couldn't see the bar you're supposed to hold in front of me. My dad also tried to hold onto me. This was like 5 years ago? I don't remember but I was probably like 11/12. Which was like 2011/2012.
