The improved squirmy worm fly pattern - FlyDays

These worms are perfect for bung fishing anytime of the year mainly fished single as a great way to find the feeding depth of the fish.
Why would anyone choose to put this on the line? Because they catch fish simple as that.
You will need:
Hook straight eye grub size 10
Under body lead
Glow bright Number 1 floss
corral squirmy worm

A quick shot with a lighter will take the edge off of fresh cuts and give it a more natural look. And thanks again, this is the best method I've found for tying these crazy things.

That is exactly how I've been tying that pattern for two years. Glad you mentioned about Super Glues, etc... for everyone else's sake. UV resins are OK to use though.

I love this ( and similar) fly for trout fishing here in Iceland. I have atcuallu started to use rubber bands instead or with the squirmy material.
