The Inauguration of President DesRoches

Rice University celebrated the inauguration of its eighth president, Reginald DesRoches, with a series of events and traditions that involved the entire Rice community, members of the Houston community and beyond. The inauguration was a historical moment for Rice in that President DesRoches is the university's first black president, first immigrant president and first president who is an engineer.
