I dont get why Druttut thinks Riot should be supporting custom skin modders. They lose Riot money by definition. Not only do you not need to have a skin, you also are only allowed to use the default skin for the program to work on ur end, so ure not even advertising skins to others in the game ure playing. I dunno, I understand his passion towards it, but Riot doesnt owe those people anything. And to think Riot would even care when they owe their playerbase a launcher that doesnt break every half a patch, and havent done anything about it in 10 years, i really wouldnt be optimistic about modded skins.
