French amateur photographer Thibauld Poirier takes impressive pictures of modern churches. He started his photo series "Sacred Spaces" four years ago and has captured images of 36 churches in Europe and Asia to date. Among them are for example the famous cathedral of Notre Dame in Paris and the Cologne Cathedral. Thibauld Poirier is not only fascinated by the architecture and history of these buildings, but also by the peacefulness they express. With his photographs, he wants to create a certain feeling so that people can immerse themselves in the architecture.

Ha! 0:12 is St. Moritz in Augsburg, just around my corner. It isn‘t really a modern church, but it was a very rich decorated baroque church, which has been almost completely destroyed in WW2 and was only rebuilt in its rudimentary structure.
