The reason I always get Mids is pretty much because I prefer all of the stopping power to come from the surface and my hand. The extra variable of the softness rarely affects me, but feels sort of like a slight tugging at the perimeter of my range of motion. Basically, when my hand is extended I apply more pressure unintentionally and I don't want to worry about that affecting my aim too much. I just wish they would release the Raiden in Soft, that one is a bit too icy in Mid.

I have always been an advocate for XSoft, I own like 8 artisans some of each sponge hardness. And while I know a lot of people do not like XSoft, I really enjoy it for the reasons you explain here. I gotta wonder exactly how hard people are pressing into their pads where XSoft gives them so many problems lol. Good video bro

It's not about pressing down. I like to switch gripstyles around and don't really apply much down force yet Hien XSoft to me is absolute dogcrap if i have to be honest. It doesn't necessarily sink in, just feels awful in practice. I gave it a shot way too many times and couldn't see the appeal the Hien admirers see. Firm surface with soft base just doesn't click with me. Zero feels fantastic on the other hand. You know the saying : different strokes for different folks. It's all personal preference and we're all free to form our own opinions.

Great video Haus! This is why I'm leaning more towards all the xsoft (or lethal pro) pads. You get a lot more control based on your force into the pad. Right now my top 3 pads are xsoft otsu, xsoft Raiden, and Saturn Pro 👍.

Played some 2042 yesterday, total horror game by the way... but did games with Hien X Soft and Zero Soft.. after that test i came away that faster mousepad is more fun for me..just feel you can swap targets way faster on Hien vs Zero.. gonna try Otsu next.. Also with the Hien i feel that its better to run no long sleeve arm..because the friction from the arm and hand on Hien gives you feedback and stopping power.. Anyway i like your ideas here..pushing down with different forces depending on situation..

Been using mine for 18 months and it's been a pleasure. Slap some corepads air on your gpx and give it a try. Really lets you feel the texture of the pad and makes flicks feel insane. My problem is not being unable to control how much pressure I want to put on the mouse, my problem is how much pressure different switches on different mice require. I love the Aerox 3 shape, but the clicks require more pressure than any other mouse Ive used. Not that much more pressure, but the difference in friction is noticeable even with the exact same mouse feet. And yes, I have tried the exact same feet. Like putting dot skates on it, instead of the Aerox 3 corepads, so that I can put the same dots on a different mouse and compare.
@hausgaming
@hausgaming Жыл бұрын
Dot feet are not the best with soft mousepads, those dig in to the soft base quite a lot and make the whole experience horrible! If you want to stick with dot feet, use harder bases!

By having to control the pressure you put on the mouse to me at such a scale, is just adding artificial difficulty, when all your focus should be on the game itself.
