Even though Linnet was set up by Simon & Jacqueline from day one, I don't feel sorry for her. She betrayed someone whom she considered "a friend". Linnet was an individual who thought she was a good person. Yet, almost every decision she made was out of self-interest & inconsideration. For example: did she pay off Louise's fiancé's because she truly thought he was no good or because she simply didn't want to lose an assistant?
