This version of Hulk is still my favorite. He's like something from a horror movie in that factory section, and you just know he'd murder without a second thought. Feels way more dangerous than the Ruffalo version, and looks better too (in my opinion).

Worse thing Marvel studios did is a "conscious Hulk" with Mark Ruffalo taken control of his transformation at his will ( It was as bad decision as riped off Beth Ross of his canon) . They simply take off the best Hulk's asset, its uncontrolled dual existence. Even the green eyes, its breaking point, was forget.

Just in case no one stated these things, the old man that drank the drop of blood in the green bottled drink is Stan Lee, and the muscle bound security guard sitting at his desk was Lou Ferrigno, the deaf body builder who played the hulk on the tv series in the 1970’s.

Viki, originally in the comics, Hulk was supposed to be *grey* so he wouldn’t be identified with any particular ethnicity, but the colorist had trouble with the ink in the first few issues, and it looked green, which actually looked better.

I love how Hulk acts without the need to speak. He was bashful after he bumped his head and tried to protect her from what sounded like gunshots to him (thunder)

Bruce Banner & The Hulk are like Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde. His love for Betty even surpasses his transformation. Protective of her, like King Kong and the blonde lady.

There were a few callbacks and references to The Incredible Hulk TV series; the most obvious of these is the cameo of Lou Ferrigno (the original Hulk) appearing as a security guard. I hope that you guys will give a look at the pilot episode of the series; not to react to but to just watch it and see why it’s still remembered as a great series.

my fiance( may she rest in piece ) had a severe fear of the hulk based from the original TV series and refused to see anything related to the hulk even the hulk cartoons until this film came out where she decided to brave it out and she ended liking the character of the hulk as she finally understood about the hulk and saw the sadness and tragedy behind the split personality of bruce banner and the hulk and fell in love with the character in the end

The original Hulk in the comic books had purple pants. You also have to remember the more angry the Hulk get the stronger he gets.

You might see Mr. Blue again as the Leader in future MCU movies . Other creature was the Abomination. The real origin of the Hulk in the comics is that dr. Banner tried to save a young boy, Rick Jones who's car broke down during a rocket testfire. The rocket was carrying a Gamma Bomb that accidentally exploded by sabotage of rocket and Bruce got caught in blast while tossing Rick to safety and that is when The Hulk is born.

Back then everyone was powered by nuclear "stuff." Hulk was created with a Gamma bomb, Spider-Man was bitten by a radioactive spider, Daredevil was exposed to radioactive waste, etc. Later the X-Men became a hit and all the new heroes were mutants. These days they come from DNA experiments or magical "nano-bots."

The film features three cameos of previous Hulks/Banners: Lou Ferrigno (70's/80's live action Had Spider-Mulk) who plays the security guy and voices Hulk, Bill Bixby (70's/80's live action Banner) appears on the TV screen near the beginning and Paul Soles (voiced Banner [and Spider-Man] in the 60's) plays Stanley Lieber [named after Stan Lee] the pizza parlour owner.

The purple pants were a callback to the original comic. Hulk was usually drawn with purple pants (probably, as you pointed out, it goes well with green) that always fit Banner when he changed back. ;) Mr. Blue was supposed to be the origin of The Leader, who gained a huge brain vs Hulk's huge brawn. We've never seen him or the Abomination since. Let me take a second here to recommend the Marvel One Shots.

The irony is that in the comics The Hulk has purple pants. "He's chatting with Blue" lol! 🤣 What happens with Mr. Blue is that he becomes a villain called The Leader, he's green & has a big head, but instead of becoming strong he becomes very intelligent. They haven't really showed that yet, but there might be a chance that he may show up on the upcoming She-Hulk series.

Ever since the Super Soldier program ended with only one success (🇺🇸), the Army tried to recreate it. Bruce testing one of these attempts on himself made him into the Hulk.

In the MCU it did but not in the real origin. He became the Hulk from a Gamma bomb explosion. The army had nothing to do with the super soldier program after captain America because Sheild took it. General Ross never had any to give. The Leader created the Abomination

Ever since I have seen Blonsky with the super soldier serum, I have wished to see it at work on Captain America. But strangely I don't think Steve Rogers in the movie has always been this formidable physically. Like in the scene where Blonsky first confront Hulk, he is so agile, Hulk has problem catching him cause he's too quick.

Ed Norton, Tim Roth, William Hurt and Liv Tyler are top notch actors in a Hulk film that definitely tells the tail of the TV series✌️Also, there’s a Spider-Man swinging in one of the shots. ❤️❤️❤️

I can tell you from working at a printing press grey is a hard color to do. It's all about the amount of black running in the press and the pattern on the plates. The pattern is the easy part. Gettin all the presses to run the same amount of black on each side of each press across multiple presses in a real challenge. Now days it's probably easy. Back even in the 80's it was all mechanical keys across the entire typeface.

The old man drinking the tainted juice was, Stan "The Man" Lee, creator of Marvel comics. He has a habit of doing cameos in all the films. Keep an eye out for him. He's like Where's Waldo. 😃 The green represents gama radiation, which is what created the Hulk. Hulk's extra strong legs allows him to do super leaps. According to Marvel comics, Hulk can travel from Los Angeles to Las Vegas in 3 jumps. They were making a joke about the purple pants. In the comic books Hulk wears purple pants. ✌❤🌹

In all fairness, the Hulk did evolve in the comics... And the movies reflected that. It just seems too quick for us because the change took 50 years in the comics. At least it's still all good. :)

There’s another hulk movie from 2003. Which technically the Incredible Hulk that you just watched is a sequel to. But for some reason it gets left out of MCU. I would watch it if you want to learn more of the Hulks Origin story.
