I can understand why some people didn't like this story, but honestly, I liked that they tried something new and actually did manage to tie it back to the Immortal Hulk run in the end. Ryan Ottley's artwork is always great to look at and the cartoony action and violence was great. Personally, I still prefer the Immortal Hulk run to this one, but still, this wasn't nearly as bad as most people made it out to be. Whether it was in reality or in his mindscape, we got to see Hulk fight almost EVERYONE and it was awesome, and this still shows that no matter the power scaling in the Marvel Universe, Hulk is the Strongest One There Is!
@Hawbitten Жыл бұрын
It was a mixture of it dropping the end of Immortal Hulk and Banner of War saying Thor is objectively stronger that annoyed a lot of people. like I'm glad you managed to enjoy this. But I'm not sure how you can say "this still shows that no matter the power scaling in the Marvel Universe, Hulk is the Strongest One There Is" When it seems it was made to do the opposite.
@gr8m887 Жыл бұрын
@@Hawbitten well, even after the whole Banner of War, we see that Hulk can still survive everything Thor threw at him and it was also clear that through it all, he was holding back titan. So the way I see it, Thor ALSO never faced the true Hulk. Because Banner is always there, holding the Hulk back in some way. Even then, Iron Man was running interference, so Hulk never even got the true one-on-one. That being said, I’ve always believed it this way: Thor can BEAT Hulk, but Hulk would have to KILL Thor to beat him.

I still am of the opinion that the most powerful Hulk is from "What If: World War Hulk #1", when Hulk, after a succusful Skrull invasion of Earth, summons the Silver Surfer and demands the Surfer bring Galactus to Earth. Silver Surfer agrees that, as the last living human, he has the right to decide the fate of Earth and summons Galactus, then quits as Galactus' Herald. Galactus then offers Hulk the position as his new Herald. Hulk agrees, is imbued with the Power Cosmic and becomes simply "The World Breaker".

When you try to reference power scales, especially with Omega tier and above, instead of using Bricks as an anology you should use Hotels as an analogy. Every Universe is essentially it"s own Hotel. Each Hotel has their VIP rooms, in these the affluentual being who resides within can essentially do as they wish. This would best explain Dormammu & the Dark Dimension, Odin and Valhalla, Cyttorak' and the Crimson Dimension, C'thon and his, Zom, Satannish, etc. These beings are VIP of their hotel, and within each Hotel resides their own unique version of their being respective to their Hotel. Each Hotel has a Head Manager, this being Eternity. Then there are an infinite number of Hotels, the totality of these equate to the Multiverse. (Mind you all of these are 3D Universes, this is important). Even Celestials, for the most part, pertain to a singular umiverse. There is an Owner and Co-Owner, One Above All and One Below All. The Living Tribunal Oversees all of the Hotels; the Watchers are like Security, observing the ongoings. Then you have beings that are vastly misunderstood, both by many current authors commisioned solely on their ability to pander or lap-dog/yes-man and others who either follow the currently problematic means we try to discern the universe in terms of dimensional topology and it's relation to reality or those who have not yet even knocked on the door to understanding reality, The Many Angled Ones/Beyonder. The Many Angked Ones are vastly mistunderstood by man, yourself included, as you have to understand, foremost, that extra-dimensional and pocket dimensions are not the same thing. The term Dimension, not being understood ("You keep using thay word, I do not think it meams what you think it means)" has been miscontrued and mistunderstood. Many Angled Ones dimensions relates to Dimensional Topology and how this relates to states of physical existence. We are 3D beings. They are 4D or Higher beings. Dimensions as pocket existences outside our own either refer to a different reality (Universe) or a VIP Room (Cyttorak and the Crimson Dimension). Many Angled Ones are not beings who reside in a pocket reality within a 3D Volume (Universe), not superpostioned but SUPRApositioned over these hotels (i just made a new word). This existing at stated so far beyond our own and the authority/mastery this affords them over the lower states are part of what contribute to their role as cosmic horror. Basically whichever hiearchy you followed and believed the apex of reality rested at the pinnacle...well, bad news for you, here comes a being whose power so vastly dwarfs the apex that they are like mere dust in the presence of these horrific beings. And Shuma Gorath is the leader of the Many Angled Ones within Marvel.
