They made a lot of good games. Their Crash Bandicoot games and Prototype were underrated too. They did have a kind of “ one step forward, one step back” issue with their sequels, but they had creative spirit and deserved a better publisher.

I love how Emil Blonsky is the complete opposite of Bruce Banner in this game. While Bruce learns to deal with the Hulk and have better control over his rage, Emil has no such luck. As the game continues, he loses himself more and more to the Abomination until he becomes the very thing he despises, a mindless beast. Pure poetry.

This game is way better than both Prototype games, it actually has a story. And I feel like it's one of the absolute best interpretations of The Hulk, definitely a better Hulk movie than any Hulk movie we've had and definitely one of the best Hulk games too, solid 10/10 story. I never really liked Devil Hulk in the comics, but even he was excellent, that introduction "Scientists aren't supposed to fear... Evolution", feels like the perfect lovechild of Shadow King and Venom. And I cannot state enough how great Ron Perlman was in this, I feel like his performance and the soundtrack were the two best stand-out aspects of the game for me, I haven't ever really liked Abomination as a character except in this game. Wish we got a Hulk movie or series that was as good as this game. If the MCU did a Hulk film solo; they should use this as a blueprint since they already introduced him.

This version of Abomination is based on the Peter David and Paul Jenkins' comics runs and the only semi-accurate incarnation of Blonsky outside the comics (the mutant hating thing and was purely an invention of this game though and his transformation was permanent)

Also there's lisincing issues between Disney and universal studios. As they still maintained the stand alone rights to the hulk .
