Such a beautiful moth ! Every year in Summer I find several Bogong Moths who got lost on their magnificent journey. The coastal area I live in suffers greatly from night light pollution (including from the Steel Works nearby) and moths are not the only creatures disorientated by it. The circadian rhythms of many birds are also disrupted, resulting in fatigue leading to poor foraging and high mortality .
