Will we ever learn how, for starters, this thing produces rotational energy? Almost nothing about this concept was explained.

We're talking about the Omega engine but instead of telling you how that works, let me tell you about a piston engine.

Don't think for a moment electric cars are going to replace gas ones. Not with our current battery tech. and they're not environmentally friendly.

In my country the sales of new EVs have already overtaken take sales of new gas cars. So no, it very much does seem that EVs are replacing gas cars.

How do they deal with sealing the rotating piston/combustion chamber? What about lubrication of the piston? Seems to me this will suffer from the same problems as the rotary engine and the liquid piston engine X.
@Jinppa6 ай бұрын
It's just relatively tight tolerances (0,1mm or 0.004" in retard units) between the titanium "donuts" on the combustion side. Repairman22 has a better video about this engine.

Nice engine, now how do we make it a v8?

It's not showing how it's injection ignition compression exhaust works, where does the ignition happen how does the burnt gas get to the other cylinder......

I was interested only in the workings of the Omega 1 engine. Had to watch 5 minutes of totally useless information to see what I came to see just to learn I’d wasted 7 minutes of my life watching nothing!
@Johncore410 ай бұрын
Some info about the operation would have been nice, this was more a history lesson on ICE. As stated below current battery vehicles are not viable. And you talking about climate shows you have fallen for the lie's. The climate model numbers from CMIP are hugely flawed. The very near future hydrogen will be used, Toyota has already made one but big oil is holding on tight and there are not enough fuel stations currently to sell the hydrogen. So aTech EN, i know you can do better.

They keep doing a p--poor job of illustrating how this engine works.
