In this episode of The Cordial Catholic, I'm joined by JuliaMarie Woolbright, an atheist convert to Catholicism to tell, first of all, her story of conversion to the Catholic faith, but then the story of her ongoing conversion through the experience of her daughter, Anastasia.
Diagnosed in utero with Anencephaly - a fatal type of neural tubal defect where a baby is born without parts of their skull or brain - JuliaMarie shares deeply from her experience of Anastasia's life, from the time of diagnosis, to her eventual passing away, and the incredible experiences since in a story that's utterly captivating.

Beautiful conversion story… suffering is redemptive… lost my husband to cancer 6 months ago and he too became the spiritual leader in our earthly family … I realized through Jesus that my role as a wife was to both help my husband heal but also prepare for heaven…peace be with everyone’s spirit 🙏❤️✌️

A Protestant response. She sadly was unaware of historic Protestantism’s wonderful theological formularies and catechisms where all the answers are indeed presented. I am a little confused here though. How is someone “kinda an atheist” or “kinda non-denominational”? Which is it? Athirst or a believing Christian? Your tag says athiest. Anyway if this lovely woman is coming to Christ for the first time out of atheism, all Christians can rejoice.

Yeah, well that’s how Jesus wanted it to be: Matthew 16:18 Now I say to you that you are Peter (which means ‘rock’), and upon this rock I will build my church, and all the powers of hell will not conquer it. And I will give to thee the keys of the kingdom of the heavens; and whatsoever thou mayest bind upon the earth shall be bound in the heavens; and whatsoever thou mayest loose on the earth shall be loosed in the heavens. The actual pope is a direct successor to Peter. The line has never been broken. Everyone was Christian Catholic until your first founder came snd decided he knew mire than 1500 years of faith and apostolic tradition. By the way, do you have any idea of where the Bible came from?? It was put together by the Catholic Church and was made of 73 books. Luther decided to throw away 7 books that weren’t in line with his nee ideas. That’s why your Bible only has 66 books…
