I was a friend of Mike and Robin from the mid 60s and promoted them at the Edinburgh Pop Festival in August 1973. A unique and magical band and magical times...ah sweet memories.

I saw them at Brighton Dome on the 17th October 1973 just a few days after these sessions. Absolutely enchanting show and sounds. I feel very lucky to have had the opportunity.

1973, the year my 1st daughter was born, she is coming with my first granddaughter to deliver my shopping because of covid, I am 75 now and a great fan of the ISB and Bert Jansch. I love my life as long as I can watch videos like ike this on my Huawei p10 plus smartphone! I try to keep up leaving one foot in the past.

I had a conversation with a very drunk Bert Jansch in a pub in Edinburgh when I was about 18. What a nice chap he was

Magic is still there. Dreams of no return is more than a song, is pure beauty and the vision of a nex life. What is music now? and musiciens? How I miss bands like ISB.

This was the phase when I first saw them live. I do wish I'd been able to see the Robin/Mike/Rose/Likki lineup, but they were still awesome.

So pleased that I saw them in all their incarnations - duo, trio, quartet and more! All brilliant! It was great to talk to Clive Palmer!!

Phase 3 of ISB. (Or ISB without the fun!). The sitar on Dreams of No Return isn't credited to anyone specific. Makes a big difference.

Though a professional photographer for the past 30 years, in those days was 100% focussed on the music. Didn't even own a camera yet...so funny.

sorry for not getting back sooner. funny. I used to give my stuff away. I only have a poster from our second to last tour which my folks had squirreled away. my memories are alive and well and beautiful. I was so fortunate to have crossed their paths when I did and they were just about the most generous two humans I have ever met. Letting the roadie thump away on the bass! Crazy!! What were they thinking? lol

@@stanschnier9543 hi. Perhaps thinking 'organic & real'? You've not let them down! Now, how do you carry an amp?
