Triund is a small hill station in the Kangra district in the state of Himachal Pradesh, India. Triund is a part of Dharamkot. Triund is at the foot of the Dhauladhar ranges and is at a height of 2,828 m (9278 Ft)
The 10-kilometre Triund Trek Distance comprises gradual, steep ascents and easy descents. The entire terrain is easy, scenic and doable by all kinds of trekkers.
Best time for Snowfall in Triund
If you want to see snowfall in Triund, the best time to visit is during the months of January and February. ... Stargazing in the night, or just relaxing alone surrounded by the Dhauladhar range are just some of the highlights of Triund. The snowfall on the hilltop just makes these experiences a lot more enchanting.

For booking Forest rest house in Triund:
Go to Forest department office at Dharamshala for booking FRH Triund. Search net for Phone no. and address. Room, beds and linen is available, nothing else.
NOTE: Charges vary as per different vendor and also varies as per peak season time
For night stay one can stay here in tent
The charges for individual is approx. Rs700 - Rs2500 INR that includes your breakfast and dinner and snacks.
Full diet is costing approx. Rs150 - Rs200 INR.
For Charging your electronic devices you need to carry your own back up and it’s always advisable carry your things with you from the starting point as on height the charges is double or sometimes triple too
