@@PeterAtkinson Tim has a habit of contradicting himself... a lot. If he were consistent about the things he says I’d understand but he says one thing about one movie but then that doesn’t apply to another movie that has a similar fault or strength. Talking about how the textures and lighting look flat, it all feels very purposeful to me. Its stylised like a 50's/60's cartoon, lots of straight edges and simple silhouettes, the end credits play off that super hard. Id still dig a remaster but its definitely a choice
@aoe410153 жыл бұрын
The take of “let’s remaster it” was one of the most idiotic and insulting takes I’ve ever heard. They didn’t say that about a bugs life, not about finding nemo. I just find that point of view insulting to say IMO.

@@kindafunny Agree & Disagree. That moment is about Tony making the sacrifice play, but that's his personal arc. The Avengers as a whole is absolutely about them working together, which is why the circle group shot is so satisfying. Similar to the third act of Avengers, The Incredibles has solid group moments in the fight, then Bob is able to deal the final blow because of his growth - listening to his wife, accepting input, and finding renewed appreciation for his family. I agree with Tim. Toy Story movies were more original and interesting then Incredibles. Still really good.
@Godwilla393 жыл бұрын
In 2004 the Incredibles was very original. With the mountain of superhero content we have today it may not seem it, but back then it was a limited genre with only a few tentpoles, and The Incredibles managed to be a both a parody of the genre, and an exceptional entry to it. It has informed even current Marvel properties (Wandavision the prime example). I don’t dislike Toy Story, but toys to life was a genre before toy story just as superheroes were before Incredibles; I think saying Toy Story is more original is a bit of a currency bias given today’s entertainment landscape
