OK... lately I have been trying to avoid toys... but something about this plane really grabbed my attention... and you know what... this time, it was all true!!! This is definitely a first for me guys... a toy coming out of China, which actually delivers what it promises, and everything works as expected, even the smartphone app, which is absolutely amazing! Didn't know what to expect... but I am bloody impressed by this thing and can definitely recommend it for great family fun... and best of all... EVERYBODY can learn to fly it in absolutely NO time!

The "Galloping Ghost" RC system is reborn! The control system looks like it is flapping between the endpoints and changing the duty cycle to get control in a specific direction -- just like early RC systems did in the 1940s and 50s! Very interesting!

I bought the same goggles from banggood and they weren't locked to the raceband channel, odd the ones bundled with this plane would be.

Put an SD card in it, and there is a button you have to keep pressed for a few seconds, and it will start recording!

111$ ... even with 20% less might sound interesting with that fpv but to be honest I am not convinced that this might be something I would have fun with for a longer time. The next point is the key question for europeans cause I could not find ce certificate. That will end in customs and then it they'll ship it back to banggood who then start to use a different route. At that time package will be on the 3rd run and will arrive 4 month later damaged like my keyi uav hero plane rtf plane. That becomes a nightmare, cause I had to pay for damages & lost parts on that long journey. I had seen this toby thing quite a while ago somewhere else on kickstarter or so ... I simply wanna avoid to buy things that I won't use long and couldn't see if the fpv might be re useable and for what. Also I've already this dji goggles racing edition. I would rather love to see a long range solution as a video project part by part where I can buy the right plane and follow you on each step. I have most of the stuff except all long range related and fpv stuff ... May be you might think about 2 optional paths or modells , a cheaper one and one with more advanced features to show the scale available and to provide a solid entry path. I've seen a lot of videos on your channel but did not find that one project I could follow. I recently bought a Volantex Ranger 1600 after I had bought the keyi hero uav from Banggood cause it offered stabilizer, remote control, charger, ... That is a full trainer kit with reinforced parts and I still have a lot of fun even in cold winter or bad weather. I just mention that due to similiar price point and reuseable RC - ok, doesn't have fpv but I'm sure you would find a right fpv solution. The fully stabilisation made it easier for me to start with and finally to buy it. Maybe you have a look at this plane as a beginner one ... where others might start with lowest risk and starter can grow with (fpv).

I actually like this one and fly it as often as I can... because it is so easy! Just charge the battery, take out your phone and throw the thing in the air! :) If it was a kickstarter thing, I am glad to see at least one of those come to fruition! I have been thinking about something like what you are describing, just have to sit down and think about which models to use and how to organize it! :)
