100% agree! I bought a pair of HDZero goggles about a month or so ago, and also purchased an Air65 which I have been flying around the house a lot and I love it, it just flies so well. Today I placed an order for an Air75 and I can't wait to rip that one around outdoors. I love my 5" quads but whoops are just so much fun themselves, I have really been missing out until now.

I started with a 2.5" toothpick, 2s 1103 8000kv. I have tinywhoop s, and I have 5" quads, but I always pick a toothpick (2.5" or 3") for fun flying. I haven't tried a modern 17g tinywhoop yet, so I might like it.
@NordFPV4 ай бұрын
I used to pick my toothpick rather than the tinywhoop because they were more capable a of tricks. But this new generation of tinywhoops with high kv motors has change that. The whoop plastic prop guard makes them a bit more crash resistant and therefore I’m flying my tinywhoops more than the toothpick these days. Just to save some prop money 🤣

I started with the Betafpv Meteor 75 and had a lot of fun with it. But when I built my own 5 inch (Yes, it was a Nord5 frame!!!) everything changed and I could feel the power of a real fpv racer! Every time I try smaller drones (I have two 3.5"), I miss my 5 inch! I still fly a Nord5 frame whenever I want to freestyle and recently I bought a 7 inch (GEPRC Moz7) for cinematic and long distance flights (I really love the sound of the 7 inch!) But I am lucky to live in a place where I have a lot of space and I don't bother anyone.

I shoot a ton with a Pavo20. I have it decked out with remote id and gps and I fly it for events all the time. I get so many kids chasing it that now I bring an adapter cable for my phone and I can take kids for rides. They freak out everytime. No one is scared of the tiny pavo. Bump up to even a 2.5 and it is louder heavier and it makes people more nervous. The 2" is totally not scary. I am now interested in going really tiny. The new Air65 looks really appealing and it is super super cheap. I wish there was a digital option. I need to figure out goggles I guess. It will be awesome for practice in tight spaces and proximity flying with zero consequences. But seems useless for any sort of real video use.

What are some good suggestions for quality analog goggles with individual lenses. I'm using an Emax goggle that came with a TH3 Freestyle that died a while ago. They are fine for my tinywhoops in a park or house. But if I'm going to fly something bigger with analog I feel like I should use a quality goggle and receiver. They seem really hard to find among the FPV online vendors.

I will be actually looking into hdzero goggles just to have the chance to fly digital later. Flexibility is the word of the game. @NordFPV4 ай бұрын
Hi, You can fly both inside and outside, but of course the 75 will be better against a bit of wind, and the 65 will be better in smaller areas. The easiest way is to think if you are going to be more time inside take the 65, or if you are going to spend more time outside take the 75. That said, I love flying the 65 outside. I think it has a bit more punch than the 75 somehow, but wind is a problem.

There are many saying the air series is for advance pilots since the camera is quite exposed and in order to get down on weight a few sacrifices to lower the weight. But I have crashed my Air65 like crazy, and I have had to change a few parts, canopy twice, and props many times, but the frame is still fine.
