One thing to note about Kuromori: It'll stay on its back longer if you shoot it down from a higher point. It's possible to bring it down in one go, and the PS4 version even has an achievement for that.

you may have found this out but for the 8th colossus kuromori i believe is his name, you can shoot him down then roll off the side of the coliseum instead of going down the stairs and just get down to him almost instantly. you can also grab onto the ledges on the walls so you don't take damage. that way it'll be much faster. also, i partially disagree with celosia, i really like the aggression because it's a nice change of pace. although i will agree the stunlocking is bullshit

It's the only long range colossus that you fight with Argo, and it makes for a nice high speed battle with having to dodge those rapid energy bursts while trying to lure it to a geyser. Once you got him above a geyser, the fight is in your favor at that point because all you have to do is distract with Wander until the geyser comes. Not to mention, it's one of the best locations for a fight. A dark and foreboding arena with dead trees, a black haze, geysers exclusive to this area, and a big cave that houses the big bad inside; it's a top tier location in my opinion, but we can agree to disagree.

The only boss In shadow of the colossus, not the remastered one, the old one, I died to, mostly Dirge. The first colossi I died to was Phaedra. No [ OOF ] Sherlock.

I would agree, but Kuromori is simply the best colossus, when I was a kid I found it super scary, and it makes you repetitive because you make him fall from very low. When you make it fall from the highest floors it lasts much longer dejected, then you have to repeat it at least 3 times, combined with its theme having to climb while chasing you is simply super intense.

BRO I DIDNT KNOW THAT. although the lore of the leaked info of the colossi means all colossi were corrupted by dormin matter, the game shadow of the colossus was inspired by king Normid, which is how doemins name was made, backwards to normid, into DormiN, lower casing the N, and upper casing the D. Game inspired by Babylon unfinished tower.

the only things i would disagree with this list is that phaedra should have been in trash tier cuz the AI is pretty wonky, sometimes it wouldnt look down and you gotta get its attention multiple times and try to get it to look down which can take a long time. and cenobia for me is A tier in terms im spectacle, you're getting it to destroy these pillars in perfectly placed spots and doing parkour just to try to get it to destroy its armor. but other than that, i agree with this tier list, and you got your 11th sub right here

The only reason I would say I like this trash bag colossus, it taught me that you don’t have to exactly follow what the game tries to make you do. Ie you’re supposed to get it to the middle and then go underground, but this speed runner churchnioh just climbed up his back legs right off rip. So much easier and faster to do that than the real method

I’m probably going to get a lot of hate for this lol…😂 But in my opinion, Argus (the 15th Colossus) is the best colossus in the whole game. To be honest, I think he has the best design out of all the minotaur colossi and I think his puzzle fits really well considering the fact that it’s the 2nd to last colossus you fight within the game. I also think the soundtrack that plays (Gatekeeper of the Castle Ruins) is probably the best in the game. But yeah, I agree with you on Malus (the 16th and final colossus). Pretty disappointing for such an anticipated fight and I really wish the developers had used more soundtracks during the encounter. Definitely a Top 5 Worst Colossi for me! And as for Phaedra (the 4th colossus)…I definitely think that it should’ve been in the Trash tier as it’s easily the worst in the game for me. Although saying that, Celosia wasn’t much better either lol.
