PM’s collection is the collection of someone who started broke remember that for him it started as status to look rich wasn’t looking for Subtlety he likes factory stones only now so he learned as he went he has memories with all the bust downs now so hard to give up something you once loved and made you feel better I like his stuff let’s be real poker night with the guys would be kool to bring out some kool looking watches I get it they have ruined some but I’m sure he has original one as well and to be honest his collection is so much more fun to watch for a viewer must people got ten Rolex and a couple Royal oaks and some dress watches and that’s about it

Looks like a difference of opinion, O repeatedly emphasizes this "it's not my cup of tea" or "it's not my kind of thing" etc. Aside from the bare differences in opinion, it may have been O's emoting, including laughter, and exclamations that rubbed PM the wrong way.

The thing is... Michael lives in a completely different world to most of us. He is obviously super wealthy, and that has enabled his natural eccentricity to evolve in whichever way he chooses... and along with it his tastes. He is clearly a super nice guy though. I sometimes watch his channel, not because I like his watches, but because it is like an anthropological study. His wealth and eccentricity have shaped his tastes and so I just shrug my shoulders. I mean, I think gold and diamonds make a watch look less refined, not more expensive, but that's just my taste and I don't know the criteria that Michael uses to judge a watch. What I would LOOOOOOOOVE Michael to do, if you are out there reading Michael, is a video covering what criteria you look for in a watch... so we can understand what your tastes are, rather than judging them from the perspective of our own tastes. Then I would be able to appreciate better where Michael is coming from and join in on his enthusiasm more. And by the way, I don't like Oison's tastes in watches either. I find Rolex as boring as dog turds... but I love the other watches he covers, I love just hanging out with Oison as he chats about watches and life, and I enjoy the style and intelligence of his videos and video editing. His Panerai and Interstellar videos are little masterpieces. Maybe one day Oison, you can explain at a deeper level what you like about Rolex.

Good to see the infamous video after hearing about it for a while. I think it is pretty clear that Producer Michael and I won't be fighting over the same watches in future. He has the occasional watch in his collection that I might be interested in owning, but for the most part, not my taste. As to whether or not he was right to be offended... tough call. Obviously you (Oisin) were a little acerbic at times. I personally can't disagree with much of what you said, but I can imagine that someone who is personally/emotionally invested in their collection, could be hurt. We all like it better when something we like is liked by others. I have a huge spot in my collection devoted to Panerai. Not everyone likes Panerai, I get that. Could I be okay with someone ripping apart my favourites, maybe. I'm quite active in the watch community. I often see people who are proud of a watch that my inside voice is going, "Oh hell no". My outside voice usually tries to find something nice to say about it. Though that would make for a really dull reaction video.

I don't get the issue (currently halfway through the video). You don't share the same taste. Ok. But you've complimented him multiple times on his humour and humility. For a colourful guy like Michael, this is all good. It's a great fun video and I love your views. Literally no idea why someone would take against this. Keep doing what you're doing. Really enjoying it.

This reminds me of all the people I knew in real estate in 2007 that thought they were geniuses. A couple years later bankrupt. Keep an eye on him. maybe watch the big short? Get ready for that trustee sale 🎉

I think PM made his first million by age 25. He’s a musician, producer and manages talent. Not a fly by night get rich quick merchant.

to be honest I feel that RM look similar to Casio in some way, you can see there's letters "start/stop" on the pushers of the chronograph, it's the same on the Casio.

Oisin, I watched the Nico Leonard version a couple of days ago and if I look at each of the reviews, this is what I saw . Nico’s review was a complete beat down of Producer Michael , Nico was calling him a Dick numerous times and just completely putting him down in the most ignorant way possible . Your review of his watches was eloquent and you were not name calling and lambasting him personally . You said what was 100% honest, he took fine watches and destroyed them with tacky diamonds encrusted all over the dial, case and even the bracelet . He only had 3 watches that I would have ever thought about and that was the 18kt Gold Daytona , the 41 Day Date and the Breguet. The rest of the watches were a mishmash of “Custom” pieces that maybe only eccentric millionaires with too much money to spend would buy . That monstrosity that was made of Titanic parts was hideous. The Richard Mille still looks like a toy and not my thing, but the 5711’s were absolute trash . Maybe in the last two years he has matured in his collection and that’s a good thing if he did . Bottom line you have a very honest and respectful review of what he was showing while Nico only wanted to embarrass and Bad mouth his character and anything he owned . That’s the difference between a person of class and a classless person who should be a shock jock the way he talks down to people . I do think Producer Michael does owe you a rebuttal of his critique of your video though . As usual you are a gentlemen as always with the people you have on your videos and even in a critique you are being genuine and not rude . Great video and I am glad I was able to watch it before it could be taken down . Note for Producer Michael, I think the one you should have had blocked was Nico not Oisin. Class is class and Nico doesn’t have it .

to be fair to the bloke, he said back then he was just a watch collector. He did a video the other day about this video and how he was embarrassed by his watches and his attitude towards them. So i don't think he's that embarrassed of the actual vid!

For a "Veneziano" is an extra torture seeing such a horror. Being surrounded by the inspiring architecture , the simplicity of a Calle, develops in you a natural sense of subtleness and respect of the beauty created by incredible artists over the centuries. This "collection" was not a good choice for you because you could have never been diplomatic about it because it goes against the core of who you are. A new subscriber, A former student at the Collegio Armeno (Venezia, S. Lazzaro). Ciao e Bravo !!

Yes, he definitely has an eclectic taste. How do you feel about him putting a strike on me cos he didn't like my critique? After having said "go for it!" when i asked.
