So I was raised by my Grandparents---- salt if the Earth Hillbillys from St.Albans WV. I was a Punk Rock / Skater kid who was raised on Kitty Welles, Johnny Cash, Patsy, Hank 1 and always found a connection to the Cure, Depeche Mode-------- so I was having dinner and your version of Just Like Heaven came bbn on. So, I have been longing for a country or bluegrass version of this song for over a decade. If I had any talent whatsoever I would have recorded it myself. I REALLY love the instrumentals, but the vocals need to be country, too. You gotta think how someone from the Deep South would pronounce these words. It would make this cover 10x better.
