The Infected Beginners Guide - Complete Day 1 start

During the beginners guide I will explain the settings, options and user's interface, I will go through the first 2 days with you, take you on a Vambie town run and show you how to best get through the different seasons, plus more.
You do not have to build like I show, you can change it up, and add more if you would like. In the end this is your game and your build, I am just here to help show you the basics and how best to survive.
Holding F opens your compass, shows you the day and season
Pressing G show you the players health stats
Pressing 0 (zero) takes your tool out of your hands
Left Alt + Right mouse button allows you to move a single item
Left Shift + Right mouse button allows you to move a stack
Left Shift and drag allows you to choose the quantity you need

God I needed jus that bit at ~0:50. Felt like an idiot. The tutorial said "pickup a rock", I'm seeing rocks all around me. And nothing I can interact with. Spent a least 20 minutes combing through controls settings and googling what's wrong with my head until stumbling upon this video and realizing that there are stones, and then there are Stones. Thank you! I've never felt like a boomer that much before...

Great video! One question though, maybe I missed it, but why do you build on the water?

When you build on the water the bears, wolves and vambies can't get you, although the vambies do bug out sometimes and cross water but never the bears or wolves. Thank you! Wishing you a great day. Take Care!

i make 3 sawtables so i dont have to stand there with the last log in my hands feeling like a derp lol
