Not meaning to be a Timmy but space marines contributed to my favorite part in the book. Trazyn and Orikan were walking through a city when Trazyn pointed out a Space Marine statue dedicated to the silver skulls that had rescued a squad of guard getting killed by orks. In actuality he had been the one who saved them hundreds of years prior just to ensure there flank was secured, though now brags that it's "His Statue" and gets Hella salty when the inquisition takes it down.
@jalpat22723 жыл бұрын
plot twist: he was the inquisitor, in his word it is not stealing if it was built for honoring you, offended orikan then destroying huge colored glass in cathedral which picturing trazyn as silver skulls librarian that saving the planet. the book also describes how casual both of them hanging out at an imperium planet cafe while drinking coffee and talking how human may surpassed necrontyr. trazyn also wanted recreating horus and emperor final duel but he need horus, emperor and sanguinus corpes.

One of my favourite parts is when they get into a fistfight after Orikan destroys one of the displays, it's hilarious to picture a scholar and a scientist fighting it out with their fists.
@rustkarl3 жыл бұрын
This book had some of the funniest and some of the best dialogue I’ve read in ages. I laughed my arse off at that scene where Trazyn is in quarantine within his own gallery, Orikan and the Executioner (lemme look the name real quick) Phillias are discussing reparations and Orikan quips that Trazyn makes a nice addition to his own gallery, to which Trazyn basically gives him the Necron equivalent of flipping him off which Orikan reciprocates. He simply pursues his fun and doesn't get a hard-on if half the galaxy is getting wrecked in the prospect of doing so...He seems to be one of the Necrons willing to go back to the flesh, if possible - in reference to his memories of music and food (and even his interest in biological "reproduction").
