I’ve always seen Wonder Women as an unstable character. She was raised by a bunch of sexist arrogant women who raised her to believe she was better than everyone and that men were all evil and prideful. All things considered, Diana turns out pretty okay in most universes. However, she tends to fall back on her teachings almost every time she has a disagreement with a guy, she immediately renounces their whole species. She is known to have a bad temper and can be tremendously arrogant and naïve. What stinks is that Wonder Woman usually has a good hart and is very selfless. Unfortunately, her peoples teachings have always held her back from being her best.

It's 100% true. In any other universe, Diana would have been there to temper Clark's rage; to take his hand and tell him "we are better than this" even if that hand was bloody from a murder. Diana does not judge, she does not capitalize, she guides and understands. She's the equilibrium of Clark's emotion and Bruce's logic; she's reason. But this Wonder Woman is deprived of that.

Throughout the entirety of the injustice Comics, Wonder Woman was enabling all of clarks bad habits, all for the sake of being with him. Rather than help Clark find closure, she lied to him every step of the way and encouraged him to make reckless decisions. Deathstroke called her the Rebound Girl and he was right. With Lois out of the way, this was her chance, no regard for the fact that Clark still loved lois and got triggered everytime someone mentions her name. The thirst is so real with her. I can understand that Supes was in shock over Lois's death, I never said he can't suffer human emotions and be fallacious, I understand that he wanted to kill Joker for revenge, but becoming a tyrant is beyond such a trauma. Diana was a shit friend to support her insanity, unlike Bats, and Supes was wrong by choosing to listen to Diana. And this is a fact. Maybe it may seem strange to you, but from pain you can start again: it’s not easy, it takes extreme strength, courage and will but it can be done, even if it’s more painful, tiring and terrible. And suffering over the death of your loved one doesn't automatically make you a mad tyrant. I can understand but not justify. Either way, the original Superman would completely disapprove, as would the original Wonder Woman. There is a reason that Injustice is not canon, and personally Diana and Clark are quite an OOC from that point of view, but it fits as long as it's an alternate universe. That doesn't change that Injustice Superman is a grown man who made the choices of him, shit choices, that Diana supported, so it's both to blame.

I've read the comics, there were many more innocent victims of the regime than Shazam and Lex Luthor. People who have only played the games or have only seen the cutscenes believe that Wonder Woman is responsible for Superman's actions but the people who have read the comics actually know what horrible things Superman has done and how evil he has become. SUPERMAN IS THE REAL VILLAIN, Wonder Woman is just a supporter of his actions. In the comics, 1. Superman pummeled Green Arrow to death. 2. Superman burnt Martian Manhunter alive with his heat vision. 3. Superman and Wonderwoman crippled a boy(who was a fan of these "Superheroes"), who was protesting their acts of the beginning years. He wore a tech combat armour and represented the public, Superman and Wonder Woman crippled the poor teenager for protesting. 4. Superman and his allies went on a war with the Green Lantern Corp, He teamed up with Sinestro and his Corp and killed more than half of the GL Corp. 5. Sinestro killed John Stewart and manipulated Hal Jordon into believing that Guy Gardener killed him, without listening to anything Hal Jordon chopped off Guy's arm with the ring in mid-air and Guy fall to death on the ground and died. 6. Superman killed Black Canary after becoming a yellow lantern himself ( However Black Canary was later saved by Dr. Fate who took her to a parallel Earth where Green Arrow was alive) 7. Superman(as a yellow lantern) beat & pushed Ganthet(the most noble Guardian of Oa) and Mogo(a living planet GL) to the sun and melted them. 8. Wonder Woman killed Huntress by breaking her neck with her lasso. 9. Superman killed Hercules even after he surrendered to Shazam as an act of non-mercy. 10. Superman burnt 220+ protestors/insurgents in a gathering who just named themselves after the Joker as a symbol of anarchy towards Superman's Regime (they weren't evil, they were normal people) 11.Superman ordered assassination of Alfred who refused to tell the whereabouts of Batman to Superman & Superman was also holding a grudge against Alfred for knocking him out in Year 1. 12. Superman killed Hawkman (It was in self defense though) 13. Superman had the Titans(Red Robin-Tim Drake, Superboy, Starfire and Wonder girl) enslaved in the phantom zone. I have to question HOW this version of Wonder Woman was even considered a hero before Joker started this chain of events. You know how the Luthor of this universe was a good person? Well apparently from what I hear to make up for that, this universe's Steve Trevor was a VERY terrible person and the one who influenced Diana's views of Man's World. @Obi-Wan_Kenobi2 жыл бұрын
It's not all Wonder Woman's fault. Yes, the things she told Superman were terrible and she bears a huge responsibility for that. I'd even go as far as saying that Superman may not have turned into a dictator without Wonder Woman. But at the end of the day, Superman is is own man who made his own choices. He made the choice to listen to all the twisted things WW said and he made the choice to act. That is on him. The ultimate responsibility falls with him. We all have free will and we all have the ability to choose. We, like Superman, must all accept that responsibility. Every single tyrant, murderer, monster, and madman tries and lay the blame for their crimes on bad influences. "He, she, it, they *made* me do this" they all say. But those are only excuses, because only ones any of us can truly blame for our actions are ourselves. *Never forget that.*
@vesalore6962 жыл бұрын
A string puppet is not considered to be free, because all of its actions are controlled by strings. (Even if the strings are hard to see). But a human being has no visible strings, so we assume we are free. There are no external constraints controlling every action. But it turns out this is not true. Each decision we make is actually the result of some internal process which was forced by prior events. And those prior events were shaped by something before. So while the decision feels free, it is completely constrained by what went before. There are strings. But the strings are chains of cause and effect. If what we do is driven by the past that is not freedom, because the past is fixed and cannot be influenced by our will. If there is some randomness in the universe, (which there appears to be) this means that some parts of decision making may be not be cause-and-effect. But spontaneous and random. But alas, that isn’t freedom either. If microscopic roulette wheels determine our actions that is even less free. We are no more responsible for quantum noise as we are for the past. But we do have a sense of agency. We do genuinely make decisions and take ownership for our decisions. It’s just that our decision making process is … a process. Something akin to a calculation. And whatever process it is. It is another string. Some people argue that a supernatural component to the self (a soul or a magical type of consciousness) gets around this problem. But it really does not. If the soul is external to our selves, then it is just another external force. And in the soul is “us” then if we establish how it it makes decisions. (either for prior reasons or random chance) then the freedom vanishes again.

I don't really think Injustice Kal-El is worthy of redemption, because even though Wonder Woman manipulated him at times he still did some things on his own. Like beating Green Arrow and Lex Luthor to death. Or how he murdered Shazam in cold blood simply for disagreeing with him. Superman also broke Kon-El's ribs, locked the other titans in the phantom zone and then lied to Raven and Cyborg about what happened to them. So while Wonder Woman manipulated him and fueled his anger from time to time he is in no way innocent or worthy of redemption.

A correct title would be "Wonder Woman is afraid the Injustice story is all her fault." That's accurately what's going on in this scene. This version of Clark Kent murdered the Joker before Wonder Woman had said anything to him. He put Lois' body in Wonder Woman's arms and said "Keep her safe." He then flew off at supersonic speed straight to where Joker was being interrogated by Batman and ripped Joker's heart out of his chest. Did she lean into his more hardcore approach to crime and peace? Yes. Did she create it? No. This version of Wonder Woman let her frustration with her mission to bring peace to a world with ever-shifting constant bloodshed, her monster-slaying inclination, and her feelings for Superman (she sees him as something between a man and the gods she worships) lead her to embrace his new, more "godlike" demeanor as a positive. She knows, subconsciously, that it's the wrong path, and that encouraging it could be seen as "corrupting" Clark (even though the choice to start down that road was entirely his own). If she didn't, the Scarecrow's fear gas wouldn't have made her hallucinate that fear. The Scarecrow doesn't put hallucinations in people's heads. His gas makes them see the fears that are already in their heads. If she didn't fear it, she wouldn't see it. I think calling Wonder Woman the "true villain" lets Superman off the hook undeservedly, and unfairly lays the blame outside of the hand that pulled Joker's heart out. Why not say the Joker is the true villain, if you want to absolve Superman of moral responsibility? He's the one who tricked Superman into murdering his pregnant wife. Is the Joker just not as good a target to blame because he doesn't have a vagina? (Well, that can't be it entirely, since so many people are quick to let Harley off the hook, even though she likely knew all about the plan to have Clark kill Lois (she might not have known about the Metropolis nuke). In the tie-in comic and the animated movie, she's clearly shown as present when Lois has been abducted and when Superman is gassed.) The problem with blaming any one person is that there are so many flawed choices and personal failings in the Injustice timeline that feed into each other. Many of the people involved had the opportunity to turn things around at various points, and fail to do so.

A sane person's proportion of blame: Clark 95% at fault: he's practically a god and has full control of his actions, including his choice of how to respond to grief. The buck stops with him, OBVIOUSLY. Batman 4.9% at fault: every time someone in Batman's rogues gallery murders someone, it's his fault because he's already refused to appropriately deal with that serial killer literally dozens of times over. Diana 0.1% at fault: it's a bad friend that enables bad behavior. Joker is just doing what Joker does. May as well blame a thunderstorm for its lightning. Who's really to blame, the thunderstorm or the idiot that walks out into it holding a twenty foot metal pole? That's how Batman and Gotham law enforcement do. As for Superman, the secret subtext of the Injustice scenario that everyone overlooks is the idea that Superman has lived such an ideal, grief-free life that all it took is the VERY FIRST INSTANCE OF REAL LOSS HE'S EVER EXPERIENCED for him to completely forsake his heroism and give in to baser emotions. Superman never had to develop any emotional fortitude, because his life and the pursuit of his ideals had been so easy. As for all the Wonder Woman hate here... y'all's cringe closet misogyny is showing, I guess? One really has to have their head all the way up their butt to pretend Diana is more at fault than Clark for Clark's own choices. Get a grip, people. 🙄
@brotquel15922 жыл бұрын
It's a person chice how to respond to grief? That is sooo immensely wrong! Do you really think that people who, so to say, after the loss of a loved one fall into alcoholism do it be choice? "My wife's dead, better get wasted!" Do you think they choose to fall into depression? Do you think they choose to fall apart with those around them? Do you think they make a calm and composed decision when they take their own lfe? This is AMAZINGLY incorrect! Human psyche doesn't work like that AT ALL! Sooo... Batman's rogue gallery crimes are Batman's fault for having a morale? Guess that makes EVERY SINGLE SUPERHERO a mass murderer then, or are we gonna pretend that people like Luthor, Lobo, Cheetah, Sinestro, Bizzarro, Parasite, etc never killed anyone? They are not Batsy's villains... Injustice Wonder Woman is an amoral horrid woman that the secon Lois was dead saw the chance to make Supes his ideal man by guiding his grief basically saying "Hey, you know what's a good coping mechanism? MASS GENOCIDE AND DESPOTISM! That'll bring a smile to your face!" People keep comparing Harley and Wonder Woman and this is extremely unfair! Harley is a murderer, that is true, but that is because Joker manipulated her through her need for affection and aknowledgement. Wonder Woman in Injustice is not a parallel to Harley, is a parallel to the Joker. You know who had a similar storyto Supes? John Stewart after Star Sapphire Fatality killed her wife and stuffed her in the fridge. Did John go on a revenge campaign to ensleve Earth and make it its totalitarian empire? NOPE! Because he had other lanterns by his side upporting him and keeping him on track. Wondy? She isolated Supes and basically Jiminy Cricket-ed him into the monster he had become. Again, grief for the loss of a loved one is one of the harsest thing someone could ever deal with and NOBODY CHOOSES HOW! But it makes us extremely vulnerable to external influence.
@aiden41122 жыл бұрын
I'd say the %'s of blame are more spread out because to be fair, Batman has morals and for a reason. He won't kill because he knows once he does he won't be able to stop himself and he believes in second chances and the Joker?? It's still his fault. Having your house burn down because lighting struck it then saying "eh, it's not the weathers fault, it does what it's built to do" is a very filly arguement. The Joker is indeed doing Joker things, but they doesn't excuse him from all the blame, he is still the sole person to blame here as well as Superman and Wonder-woman. It's more of a 40%, 40%, 20% blame between Joker then Superman then Wonder Woman. Joker destroyed his life murdering his family with Superman, Superman handled his grief badly because as anyone would but he still has a choice not to do what he did and Wonder Woman egged him on as soon as his family died. She manipulated his grief and turned him to do stuff he never normally would.

Superman and wonder woman have actually killed villains in the comics and have saved way more people than batman ever had. Period! I find it hysterical that Harley Quinn can see that the Joker needs to be put down over Batman himself. That just shows how blind and foolish batman is. Frank miller's Batman >>> Injustice Batman.
